  • ROH on HonorClub Episode 62 Preview

It's Thursday night once more, which means we've got another exciting edition of ROH ON HONOR CLUB in store for the ROH faithful! It gets underway at 7pm ET/6pm CT, and this week The Infantry will finally get their hands on The Outrunners inside the squared circle, plus ROH World Tag Champions The Undisputed Kingdom will be in Proving Ground competition, the Mogul Embassy's Toa Liona goes into singles competition, and Nyla Rose will be in action as well! The bouts begin at 7pm ET/6pm CT exclusively on Honor Club (www.watchroh.com), the home for 20+ years of professional wrestling history from the most influential promotion of the 21st century, as well as  the men and woman who continue to shape the future of professional wrestling each and every week! TAG TEAM BATTLE... The Infantry (Capt. Shawn Dean & Carlie Bravo) vs. The Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd) The Infantry of Carlie Bravo and Capt. Shawn Dean have some issues with The Outrunners of Truth Magnum or Turbo Floyd. It stems from The Infantry feeling that The Outrunners stole their move, and has escalated from their to the challenge seen in the video above! The Infantry got a taste of the top tier when they challenged The Undisputed Kingdom at SUPERCARD OF HONOR 2024 and want another shot at the top, while The Outrunners are just one week removed from losing a Proving Ground contest to Matt Taven and Mike Bennett. Will The Infantry shut down the copycat ops, or will The Outrunners seperate the pretenders from the contenders? ONE-ON-ONE... Queen Aminata vs. Robyn Renegade Queen Aminata was so close to becoming the first ROH Women's World TV Champion at SUPERCARD OF HONOR 2024, but Billie Starkz used some decidedly underhanded tactics to steal the win out from underneath her opponent that night in Philadelphia. Given how things went down at BATTLE OF THE BETLS X, it's clear that the issues are not settled between Aminata and The MIT, and the Queen is no longer fighting against that tide alone, she's got Red Velvet at her side! With sights set on championship titles, Queen Aminata heads into competition this Thursday night against Robyn Renegade with hopes of getting the ROH Women's World Champion into battle sooner rather than later. The challenge has been laid out, but Queen Aminata isn't sitting back waiting for a response, she's getting right back into action to show Athena and Billie Starkz that she is undeniable! ALSO FEATURING: -Proving Ground: ROH World Tag Champions Undisputed Kingdom vs. The Qrown!! -Aaron Solo vs. Jon Cruz!!! -Nyla Rose! -The Mogul Embassy's Toa Liona in singles action!! -The Dark Order in Trios competition!!! -And much more!!!!

Thursday night is upon us once again, and that means another action-packed episode of ROH ON HONOR CLUB coming your way! Kicking off at 7pm ET/6pm CT, this week the ROH World Tag Champions will be in action when the face The Outrunners in Proving Ground competition, plus we will hear from record-setting ROH Women's World Champion Athena and ROH Women's World TV Champion Billie Starkz! But that's not all, we've also got Abadon in action, The Righteous and Lance Archer, a wild Three Way bout with AR Fox versus Blake Christian versus The Beast Mortos, as well as both Johnny TV and Taya Valkyrie in action! The excitement starts at 7pm ET/6pm CT exclusively on Honor Club, the place that's also your home for 20+ years of professional wrestling history, featuring the men and woman who've built this sport over the last two decades as well as those who continue to shape the future of professional wrestling every week! PROVING GROUND MATCH... ROH World Tag Champions The Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) vs. The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd & Truth Magnum) Wednesday night on DYNAMITE we saw Matt Taven and Mike Bennett ready to jump Will Ospreay on behalf of AEW International Champion Roderick Strong after Ospreay earned a DOUBLE OR NOTHING 2025 title match, but Thursday night it's all about them and their ROH World Tag Team Championship titles! Back in action for the first time since defeating The Infantry at SUPERCARD OF HONOR 2024 a few weeks back, The Undisputed Kingdom is set to meet The Outrunners of Turbo Floyd and Truth Magnum in Proving Ground competition. Truth and Turbo have garnered quite a following since coming into the Ring of Honor fold, but not a whole lot of wins to go along with that support. Still, ROH is all about opportunity and The Outrunners have the biggest one of their ROH careers on Thursday night. The rules of the Proving Ground are well established; defeat the champions or survive the time limit and earn a future championship opportunity. Unfortunately there are not many who've been able to accomplish that feat over the years, but Taven and Bennett are one of the championship teams who've been on the losing end and quite recently at that. It was just three weeks ago that The Infantry earned their SOH '24 shot by going the distance with The UK, can The Outrunners follow in their footsteps? THREE WAY BOUT... AR Fox vs. The Beast Mortos vs. Blake Christian Blake Christian and The Beast Mortos squared off during the SUPERCARD OF HONOR 2024: ZERO HOUR with The Beast taking the victory in Philadelphia! It was a battle of heart and power, spirit and strength, and we know which of those won out that night. Now throw a third element into the mix, one with nearly twenty years of experience inside the squared circle, and see how things explode when AR Fox enters the picture! It's been six weeks since the last time Fox stepped into the ROH ring, so he is itching to go for this fight, and it will be interesting to see how he and Blake Christian interact given that they've spent much of their time in ROH working together rather than as foes. Will The Beast Mortos continue to dominate in Ring of Honor, or will it be  one of the other two competitors who soars into victory? THE MIT SPEAK! At SUPERCARD OF HONOR 2024 the world saw Billie Starkz earn the ROH Women's World Television Championship, the first person to hold that title as a matter of fact, while also witnessing “The Fallen Goddess” Athena continue her reign atop the ROH Women's Division by defeating Hikaru Shida. As if those two milestones weren't big enough, just two days ago marked Athena's 500th day as the ROH Women's World Champion, a marker only exceeded in ROH by Samoa Joe's historic World Title reign of 645 days as well as his World TV reign of 574 days, and by Nigel McGuinness' 545 days as World Champion. It's truly looking as if Athena will be “The Forever Champion”; there are few championship challengers she hasn't turned away, and no one has earned their opportunity on the Proving Ground either, so what does the future hold when you've been as dominant as Athena? And what does the future hold for Billie Starkz as she adjust to life as a champion in Ring of Honor? Who is going to set their sights on these women now and can anyone knock the MIT down from the top of the mountain? ALSO FEATURING: -Yuka Sakazaki vs. Leila Grey! -Lance Archer & The Righteous in action!! -Abadon returns! -Johnny TV competes! -Taya Valkyrie steps into the ring! -And more!! ROH ON HONOR CLUB is back this Thursday at 7pm ET/6pm CT, and it's only available on Honor Club, the home for Ring of Honor's rich history of professional wrestling action including action from Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole, The Briscoes, The Kings of Wrestling, The Dangerous Angels, Jay Lethal, and more! • ROH on HonorClub Episode 60 Preview

ROH ON HONOR CLUB is back this Thursday night with another all-new edition featuring new ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe stepping onto the Proving Ground for the first time as champion, The Infantry looking to get back to contender status with a fight against Iron Savages, Trios action featuring the Women's Division, Abadon back in ROH competition, and so much more! The action begins Thursday night at 7pm ET/6pm CT exclusively on Honor Club, the home for more than 20 years of professional wrestling history, as well as the spot to watch not just the replay of SUPERCARD OF HONOR 2024, but all the marquee ROH events since the dawn of the New Era of Honor! PROVING GROUND MATCH... Mark Briscoe(c) vs. Griff Garrison (w/Cole Karter & Maria) ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe may his mind fixed on the impending Trios match against The House of Black this Sunday night at DYNASTY 2024 but that doesn't mean he's taking any focus of the ROH World Championship. In fact this Thursday night on Honor Club, Mark is welcoming Griff Garrison onto the Proving Ground for the young man's first solo test. Back in September, during ROH ON HONOR CLUB #28, he joined with Gravity and Metalik to try and earn a ROH World Six-Man Title fight against The Mogul Embassy, but they failed in that quest in under five minutes. Many moons ago, at ROH: THE EXPERIENCE 2019, Griff and his then-partner Marcus Kross actually faced Jay and Mark in a ROH World Tag Team Championship bout, dropping the bout in just over eight minutes, but this is the closest Garrison has ever come to a ROH singles title match and he does not want to let it slip away! Between his previous experience with Mark, the knowledge Maria has about The Briscoes from her experience leading The Kingdom against them, and the potential of some outside help from Cole Karter, Griff Garrison has a fighting chance to parlay his first solo Proving Ground effort into his first ROH singles championship fight. Survive the time limit or beat the champ; that's all Griff has to do and a ROH World Title match will be his! So much easier to say than to accomplish... SINGLES BOUT... “Big Shotty” Lee Johnson vs. JD Drake “Big Shotty” Lee Johnson took a huge step forward in his professional wrestling career at SUPERCARD OF HONOR 2024. Unfortunately it wasn't as a result of defeating Kyle Fletcher for the ROH World Television Championship, but rather because he proved to all the eyes fixed on ROH's marquee event that he can run with the top dogs in the pack. Lee knew he had what it took to hang in there with Kyle, he knew he could push the Don Callis Family member into deep waters, and “Big Shotty” took Fletcher nearly to the twenty minute mark before the defending champion figured out a way to defeat his challenger. It wasn't a title victory, but it was a moral one for Lee Johnson, one that gave him an inkling of what being a champion is all about, and now he wants the full experience! With that in mind, Lee gets right back to the grind this Thursday night when he goes head-to-head with the hard-hitting JD Drake in singles competition! These two competitors have done the dance many times over the last few years, but always in trios and multi-man encounters, this will mark their first singles bout and each man is looking to make it a memorable one for their careers! ALSO FEATURING: -The Infantry (Carlie Bravo & Shawn Dean) vs. Iron Savages (Boulder & Bronson w/Jacked Jameson) -“Bounty Hunter” Bryan Keith vs. Aaron Solo -Diamante, Leila Grey, & Taya Valkyrie vs. Kiera Hogan, Leyla Hirsch, & Trish Adora -Lady Frost vs. Marti Belle -Beast Mortos vs. Nick Comoroto -Abadon vs. Allysin Kay -AND MORE! The fights get underway at 7pm ET/6pm CT each and every Thursday night exclusively on Honor Club, the only place for the 20-plus years of Ring of Honor history featuring the likes of Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli, Chris Hero, The Young Bucks, El Generico, Kenny Omega, Samoa Joe, and more, plus it is the place to catch the replay of SUPERCARD OF HONOR 2024, as well as every marquee ROH events since the New Era of Honor began!

  • ROH on HonorClub Episode 59 Preview

There is a new Ring of Honor World Champion in the house and his name is Mark Briscoe! For the first time in the history of ROH, “Chicken” has claimed a singles championship to go along with the thirteen ROH World Tag Titles and one ROH World Six-Man Championship reign on his resume, and he aims to carry that title with the same respect, with the same honor, that his predecessor Eddie Kingston did during his reign. You can hear a snippet of what Mark had to say to the Philadelphia fans after SUPERCARD OF HONOR 2024 went off the air right here, and you can see the full match, as well as the complete action-packed event, any time with your Honor Club subscription! As joyous an occasion as Mark's title victory may be, Thursday is a new day and a new episode of ROH ON HONOR CLUB, meaning that for him, as well as ROH Women's World Champion Athena, ROH World TV Champion Kyle Fletcher, new ROH Women's World TV Champion Billie Starkz, ROH World Tag Champions Taven & Bennett, as well as everyone else on the roster, it's time to get back to work! The action begins Thursday night kicking off at 7pm ET/6pm CT exclusively on Honor Club, your home for over 20 years of professional wrestling history, as well as the only spot to watch the replay of SUPERCARD OF HONOR 2024 featuring the crowning of Mark Briscoe as ROH World Champion! PROVING GROUND MATCH... ROH World Television Champion Kyle Fletcher(c) vs. “The Professional” Rhett Titus If one wants to talk homegrown Ring of Honor originals, look no further than “The Professional” Rhett Titus; this is a man who began his career inside the ring of the ROH Wrestling Academy, who had his first match in Dayton, OH at the hallowed Montgomery County Fairgrounds in January 2005, and went on to capture the ROH World Television Championship, a ROH World Tag Champion with Kenny King, a ROH World Tag Champion with Tracy Williams, the final ROH Top of the Class Trophy holder, and multi-time Survival of the Fittest Tournament participant. He has Ring of Honor flowing through his veins, and has wanted nothing more than to reclaim the ROH World TV Title ever since Minoru Suzuki defeated him for it at SUPERCARD OF HONOR 2022. Rhett unsuccessfully took a crack at Samoa Joe, the man who dethroned Suzuki, last October on COLLISION, and after competing at SUPERCARD OF HONOR 2024: ZERO HOUR last Friday night, he's itching to get back to the place where it all began. But just because Titus has a lengthy history with Ring of Honor doesn't mean he can slide right back into a championship match, he's got to earn it the hard way, and that means stepping onto the Proving Ground to earn a World Television Championship match! It's not Rhett's first time competing in a Proving Ground match, in fact The All Night Express were the first people to ever win a Proving Ground match, earning a World Tag Team Championship bout by beating Charlie Hass & Shelton Benjamin, though the eventual title fight did not go their way. The other two PG matches on Titus' resume, one a tag and the other a Four Corner Survival, did to not go in his favor, but this marks his first one-on-one match under these stipulations, so that means Rhett can either last the time limit with Kyle Fletcher, or defeat the champion, and a future World TV Title match will be his! Fletcher is coming off quite an impressive victory over Lee Johnson at SUPERCARD 2024 (www.watchroh.com), one that Titus was no doubt watching with a very close eye, and is dead set on going down in history as the greatest TV Champion of all-time. Can Rhett Titus derail those aspirations and become a 2-Time Champion, or will Fletcher get one notch closer to etching his name alongside Samoa Joe, Jay Lethal, Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, and Matt Taven in the pantheon of great TV Champions? ONE-ON-ONE... “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels vs. Cole Karter Coming off a tag team victory over Serpentico and Angelico during the ZERO HOUR last Friday night, Cole Karter aims to keep proving himself to Maria, this time by taking on a fight with the first-ever ROH Grand Slam Champion, one of the original foundations of honor, “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels! Having been an integral part of ROH since THE ERA OF HONOR BEGINS, and one of the landscape shaping forces in independent wrestling, Christopher Daniels has taken on every challenge before him, battled everyone who's ever stepped inside the ROH ring, and though it took him a few years to come around to it, to this day he continues to fight for a code of honor. One of the people that has stepped to Daniels in the recent past is Cole Karter; in fact just over a year ago, on the 3/6/23 edition of DARK: ELEVATION, “The Fallen Angel” defeated Cole Karter in singles competition, and then proceeded to do the same during ROH ON HONOR CLUB #12 in tag team combat. In all fairness to Karter, it was a random partnership with Zack Clayton rather than the man who has become his tag partner Griff Garrison and it was before he came under the guidance of Maria, but it's still a second loss in the books where Christopher Daniels is concerned, and something he's longing to redeem. So this Thursday night Cole Karter will have his opportunity when he goes one-on-one with the former ROH World Champion during an all-new ROH ON HONOR CLUB! Will he impress Maria once again, just like he and Griff did during the ZERO HOUR, or will the veteran experience of “The Fallen Angel” again prove more than young Karter is able to overcome? ALSO FEATURING: -Action Andretti vs. Isiah Kassidy!! -Zak Knight in action! -The Righteous in tag team competition! -“The Chaos” Nyla Rose is looking for a fight! -Anna Jay returns to ROH competition! -Shane Taylor Promotions of Lee Moriarty & Shane Taylor compete! The night of wrestling begins this Thursday at 7pm ET/6pm CT only on Honor Club, your only home for more than 20 years of professional wrestling history, as well as the place to catch the replay of SUPERCARD OF HONOR 2024 featuring the crowning of Mark Briscoe as ROH World Champion, Billie Starkz claiming the ROH Women's World TV Champion, a wild Stardom Trios match, and so much more!

The momentum from the kick out forced Serpentico toward the ropes. Griff was hiding outside the ring and managed to pull the mask off Serpentico’s head.
