ROH PURE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH... Shane Taylor Promotions' Lee Moriarty(c) vs. The SAP's Angelico Last week on Honor Club, Angelico and Aaron Solo competed in each man's first-ever Pure Rules match. It's not always the easiest rule structure to grasp the first-time around, but each handled themselves well, though it was ultimately Angelico and his llave style that won the day. Clearly this has given the Negro Navarro trained Angelico a boost of confidence because he and Serpentico feel Angelico is prepared to step up to title contender based off that one Pure victory. That's fine by ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty, he's not going to back down from any challenge now that he's finally acquired the prize he's been chasing for as long as he's been in Ring of Honor. Inspired by former Pure Champions like Nigel McGuinness, Jay Lethal, and yes even Wheeler Yuta, Moriarty made it a point to hone his mat skills to a killer edge until he finally claimed the Pure Championship for his own. Moriarty turned away the Proving Ground challenge of Action Andretti two weeks ago, but in this dance with Angelico the championship will be on the line! Can TaigaStyle be successful in his first title defense, or will Angelico put his llave stylings to work to claim his first ROH title? ONE-ON-ONE... Premier Athletes' Ariya Daivari vs. The Conglomeration's Tomohiro Ishii Ariya Daivari and the Premier Athletes have been a thorn in the side of The Conglomeration for weeks now; be it in Trios competition several weeks ago on COLLISION when Mark Briscoe, Kyle O'Reilly, and Tomohiro Ishii defeated the lot of them, or just a few weeks ago when Tony Nese fell to Ishii in singles competition, “Smart” Mark Sterling's unit will just not fade away. Tonight during ROH ON HONOR CLUB another of those men will step up to the plate to try and knock down “The Stone Pitbull”, the ultra-athletic Ariya Daivari! It's been a rough go for Daivari as of late here in ROH, after scoring a tag victory with Tony Nese during HONOR CLUB 75, he had his head kicked off by Katsuyori Shibata two weeks later, and now two weeks after that he's going after Big Tom! Throw in his AEW antics, taking on Hologram and Mistico in tag action, the fight with Jeff Jarrett, and that wild 16-Man during the ALL IN: LONDON 2024 ZERO HOUR and he's been quite the busy man. Then again, Ishii has been as well, getting his own ZERO HOUR work in with that Mixed Tag against Stokely Hathaway and Kris Statlander, then throwing down bombs with Hangman Page just last night on DYNAMITE in their singles match. “The Stone Pitbull” has got to feeling it after that fight with the former AEW World Champion, but he's ready to go again tonight in Ring of Honor action! Can this Conglomeration member finally put an end to Premier Athlete involvement in their lives? PROVING GROUND MATCH... ROH Women's World Champion Athena vs. Aleah James On the August 10th COLLISION, Aleah James made her first impression on the AEW audience when she faced Hikaru Shida one-on-one. Tonight during HONOR CLUB #79, she gets into an ROH ring for the very first time with another World Champion as her foe, none other than “The Fallen Goddess”, your forever champion, the ROH Women's World Champion Athena! A native of Essex, England, Aleah James has been honing her craft for the last five years primarily in the UK, but recently made her first excursions to the United States for competition, and thus her answering the Proving Ground challenge against Athena! We know that Abadon has eyes on the “The Fallen Goddess”, and could be lurking around any corner, but will that distract Athena from success in her 31st Proving Ground/Eliminator Match? SINGLES MATCH... RevPro Undisputed British Women's Champion Mina Shirakawa vs. Rachael Ellering After watching the Toni Storm/Mariah May dynamic finally explode at ALL IN: LONDON 2024, Mina Shirakawa has to get her head back in the game tonight during ROH ON HONOR CLUB when she faces the double-tough Rachael Ellering one-on-one! Coming into this bout 1-0 in ROH singles competition, we have not seen Mina in action under the ROH banner since that amazing Stardom Trios bout at SUPERCARD OF HONOR 2024 back in April while Ellering, after healing up from some lingering issues, is coming off a victory over Brooke Havok three weeks ago and looking to work into title contention. A victory over the RevPro Undisputed British Women's Champion would be a huge boon to the career of Ellering, but it's going to be a tough fight to score that victory, ain't no doubt about it! ONE-ON-ONE... Johnny TV vs. Sidney Akeem Johnny TV is always ready for his television time, but tonight during HONOR CLUB #79 he's got quite a tough task on hand when he welcomes Sidney Akeem to Ring of Honor for the very first time! Akeem has been making waves on the independent circuit for the last several months, traveling from Florida to Cleveland to LA to Atlantic City, and wowing audiences wherever he goes, and his background training with Cirque de Soleil is going to make this bout with the parkour-inclined Johnny TV quite the intriguing contest. ROH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH... Mark Briscoe(c) vs. The Beast Mortos On the July 31st edition of DYNAMITE, The Conglomeration of ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, and Tomohiro Ishii fell to the combination of The Beast Mortos, Roderick Strong, and RUSH. The most difficult part of that loss though fell on the shoulders of the ROH World Champion though as his were the ones pinned to the mat by The Beast Mortos. It was the biggest victory the monstrous luchador had scored during his AEW career, and though Mark was able to get a little bit of redemption on COLLISION a few days later, it was as part of an eight-man tag and neither man was involved in the finish of the fight.  Yet clearly the pinfall to Mortos has been lingering in Mark's mind because, after defeating Johnny TV, he issued the challenge to The Beast Mortos for a championship fight tonight during Honor Club! Mark  has been a busy man the last month, going from winning Blood & Guts as part of Team AEW to defending his ROH World Championship at DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024 two days later against Roderick Strong to defeating the Premier Athletes in a Trios Match just 24 hours after that! But that was just the beginning of Mark's wild month; he had the aforementioned Trios and Eight-Man involving The Beast Mortos on July 31st and August 3rd respectively, then last week's fight against Johnny TV, followed by a Conglomeration trios victory over The Butcher and The Outrunners one day later, and now he will step into the ring with The Beast Mortos for this championship clash! With all that mileage on his body in such a short time, does Mark Briscoe have enough fight in him to stave off the challenge of an individual as powerful as The Beast Mortos? We will find out tonight on Honor Club!   EIGHT-MAN TAG... ROH World Six-Man Champions Dustin Rhodes, Marshall Von Erich, & Ross Von Erich, and ROH World Tag Champion Sammy Guevara vs. Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) and Dark Order (Alex Reynolds & John Silver) In the main event of last week's ROH ON HONOR CLUB, Dustin Rhodes and The Von Erichs put their ROH World Six-Man Titles on the line against Cage of Agony, and though it was an extremely hard-fought contest for the champions, they seemed to have a victory all wrapped up when Alex Reynolds, John Silver, Evil Uno, Matt Taven, and Mike Bennett all hit the ring to disrupt the proceedings. Dustin and the Von Erichs technically got the victory via disqualification, but the relentless assault continued despite Sammy Guevara, Angelico, Serpentico, and Fuego del Sol all trying to even the odds. One-by-one they all fell, so too did any security that tried to assist, it was only the arrival of officials like Jerry Lynn and Christopher Daniels that brought an end to the attack.  It's not surprising that Undisputed Kingdom and Dark Order both want a piece of this Texas quartet, after all it was Dark Order who lost to Rhodes and the Von Erichs at DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024 in the ROH World Six-Man Eliminator Match, and it was Undisputed Kingdom who they beat at BATTLE OF THE BELTS XI to claim the vacant titles as their own. That may have been the impetus for that assault, but now factor in how Undisputed Kingdom also lost their ROH World Tag Titles to Dustin and Sammy Guevara last week on COLLISION, just two days after that attack, and now the hostilities have really amped up! Dustin, Sammy, Ross, and Marshall are aiming to even the score for what happened last Thursday night while Dark Order and UK are aiming for a repeat performance of their show-closing assault! Will the gold-laden quartet from the Lonestar State give their foes their comeuppance tonight? ONE-ON-ONE... Tony Nese vs. Lio Rush Tony Nese and Lio Rush are no strangers to one another, their first bout went down almost eight years ago in Philadelphia, and in the years since they've gone one-on-one a total of three times. Nese holds the edge in that trio of bouts 2-1, but it's been more than four years since their last encounter, and the careers of both men have undergone a great deal of change in that time. Despite all that's taken place, after all this time Nese and Lio Rush find themselves back inside the same squared circle once again, and tonight, at the behest of Paul Wight, they will have their fourth ever singles bout. For Nese this is a match that could very well determine his championship future in Ring of Honor, Wight himself said that if Tony wins then they will have a conversation about what that future holds, but taking down Lio is easier said than done. Lio picked up a big victory over long-time rival Blake Christian last week on Honor Club while the week prior Tony Nese was on the wrong end of a Tomohiro Ishii beating, so if there's momentum to be had it is certainly on the side of Lio Rush. Can he keep it going in another bout with an old rival, or will Nese (and likely his Premier Athlete cohorts) find a way to achieve victory? PURE RULES... Angelico vs. Aaron Solo What we have here is a first for both competitors; neither Angelico or Aaron Solo have ever competed in a Pure Rules match, but tonight during Honor Club they will share the experience together! Given the in-ring stylings of Angelico, this seems like a bout custom made for the man, but Aaron Solo is no slouch in the world of technical wrestling himself. Fourteen years of experience, training at Lance Storm's school in Canada, he's learned a thing or two about the mat wars, and he's going to have to put it all to use against the llave game of Angelico! Will a victory here lead the winner down the road towards fighting ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty? TRIOS MATCH... Cage of Agony (Bishop Kaun, Brian Cage, & Toa Liona) vs. ROH World Television Champion Atlantis Jr., Fuego del Sol, & Serpentico After their frustrating ROH World Six-Man Championship disqualification loss last week, a loss caused by Dark Order and Undisputed Kingdom mind you, Cage of Agony is right back into the fight tonight on Honor Club with this Trios bout! Brian Cage and Atlantis Jr. were the final two competitors in the ROH World TV Championship Survival of the Fittest match at DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024, with the defending champion pinning “The Machine” to retain his title, so Cage is looking forward to an opportunity to even that score from the July event. Cage of Agony certainly has the experience advantage of their opponents who are uniting for the first time, but that unfamiliarity with one another also means opponents won't know who they gel together either. That unpredictability may be the key to Atlantis Jr's team pulling out the victory over Ring of Honor's trio of behemoths! ROH World Tag Team Championship Match! Undisputed Kingdom—Matt Taven & Mike Bennett (c) vs. ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes & “Spanish God” Sammy Guevara! Mike Bennett avoided an uppercut from Dustin and countered with a thrust kick. Sammy tagged in and wiped out the Undisputed Kingdom with a big cross body press from the top turnbuckle. Sammy flipped over the top with a tope con hiro onto Taven! The fans chanted “Sammy! Sammy! Sammy!” The Kingdom showed why they are ROH World Tag Team champions, isolating Sammy in the corner and keeping him from making the tag to Dustin. Somehow Sammy found the strength to take down Taven with a Spanish Fly! Dustin grabbed a tag and the big Texan clobbered Bennett with a variety of offense! Dustin spiked Taven with a Canadian Destroyer! Dustin planted Taven with the Cross Rhodes, but Bennett jumped in to break up the pin attempt. Rhodes smashed Bennett with a Cross Rhodes! The Beast Mortos and Roderick Strong ran down to the ring. The Beast distracted the referee so Roddy could interfere with the Sick Kick on Dustin! Marshall and Ross Von Erich sprinted to the ring and applied the Iron Claw onto Roddy and the Beast Mortos! Brian Cage and the Gates of Agony ran down and began to brawl with the Von Erichs. The Conglomeration joined the melee, and the teams brawled to the back. Meanwhile in the ring, Bennett and Taven were looking for a spiked piledriver on Dustin. But Sammy knocked Taven from the top! Dustin drilled Bennett with a spinning suplex, and Sammy put a statement at the end of the sentence with a frog splash! Dustin covered Bennett and pinned Bennett! And we have new Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions— “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes and the “Spanish God” Sammy Guevara! The fans chanted “You deserve it! You deserve it!” “Dustin Rhodes is a double champion in Ring of Honor!” said Tony Schiavone.

That's why tonight in Arlington, it will be Mark Briscoe making the third defense of his ROH World Title reign against Johnny TV in their first-ever meeting! It's a huge opportunity for a world-traveled, TV ready man like Johnny, but is he ready for the kind of fight one of Dem Boyz brings? ROH WORLD TV CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH... Atlantis Jr.(c) vs. TMDK's Robbie Eagles Atlantis Jr. went through it at DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024 in an effort to retain his ROH World Television Championship. With five men vying for the title around his waist in Survival of the Fittest 2024, the luchador was the last man standing after nearly twenty minutes of non-stop action, pinning “The Machine” Brian Cage to remain TV Champion. Tonight he's back in action, putting his title on the line once again, this time against TMDK representative Robbie Eagles who made his victorious return to Ring of Honor competition last week for the first time in over a year. A former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion for New Japan Pro Wrestling, Eagles is a threat to any title holder, and now we've got another first-time match on our hands with this Eagles/Atlantis clash that's quite an exciting prospect! Can Atlantis Jr. successfully retain his title for a third time, or will it change hands from a CMLL competitor to one from NJPW? ROH WORLD SIX-MAN CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH... Dustin Rhodes & The Von Erich (Marshall & Ross)(c) vs. Cage of Agony (Brian Cage, Toa Liona, & Bishop Kaun) Dustin Rhodes and The Von Erichs have been busy men these last couple weeks; after winning their Eliminator Match at DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024 to earn a spot in the ROH World Six-Man Championship match, they made the most of the moment and defeated Undisputed Kingdom at BATTLE OF THE BELTS XI to become the new champions. Just five days later that trio from Texas made the first defense of their newly won titles against Iron Savages, then last week Dustin teamed up with Sammy Guevara to beat Dark Order in tag team action.  This Thursday night Rhodes is right back in action alongside Marshall and Ross to defend the ROH World Six-Man Championship once again, this time against former champions Cage of Agony! Brian Cage, Toa Liona, and Bishop Kaun are 2-Time Six-Man Champions, with a combined 351 days between their reigns, with a total of eleven defenses, nine of which came during their first reign, making them one of the most successful six-man units to hold the titles since their inception at FINAL BATTLE 2016. Only one team has held these titles on three occasions, The Kingdom of Matt Taven, Vinny Marsegila, and TK O'Ryan. Can Cage of Agony become the second unit to accomplish that feat, or will the Rhodes-Von Erich legacy continue to grow tonight on Honor Club? ONE-ON-ONE... Ariya Daivari vs. Katsuyori Shibata Katsuyori Shibata has his hands full dealing with “The Learning Tree” Chris Jericho, “Bad Apple” Bryan Keith, and “The Redwood” Big Bill, but now that HOOK is back in action, he's got some help on that front. That doesn't mean he's not willing to show up on the Ring of Honor stage to teach a lesson to another group of individuals who insist on running their mouths in the Premier Athletes. “The Wrestler” has tangled with “Smart” Mark Sterling's clients before, on the June 22nd edition of COLLISION he, Samoa Joe, and HOOK took them down in Trios competition, he also defended the ROH Pure Title against Josh Woods, but this is the first time he's taken on Daivari in singles competition. Now Ariya certainly lives up to his billing as a Premier Athlete, his fitness is off the charts, he's strong, his cardio conditioning is stellar, but he's up against a man in Shibata who is as deadly on the mat as he is with his strikes. Being dubbed “The Wrestler” in a world full of them means he's the best at what he does, and what he does is commit violent acts to those in the ring with him. Will Ariya regret taking this match against Shibata when he wakes up tomorrow morning? GRUDGE MATCH... Griff Garrison (w/ Maria) vs. SAP's Serpentico This is it, Serpentico finally has an opportunity to get his mask back from the clutches of Maria and Griff Garrison! This rivalry has been raging on for months now, but tonight on Honor Club it finally comes to a head but with the entire identity of Serpentico at stake. As heard in the video embedded above, Serpentico agreed to take this match on at the risk of permanently losing his mask! Not the one Maria is threatening to turn into a purse, but any mask he could possibly put over his face when he steps into the squared circle. That's right, if Serpentico loses this fight, he will have to de-mask in front of the whole world and never compete with one on again! Will this be the biggest mistake of Serpentico's wrestling career, or the biggest victory of his life? Tune into Honor Club later tonight to find out! PROVING GROUND MATCH... ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty vs. Action Andretti Almost since the moment Lee Moriarty signed on with Shane Taylor Promotions, there have been issues with Top Flight and Action Andretti. They battled on HONOR CLUB #37 last year, they went into Trios competition on the July 12th edition of RAMPAGE, and they've exchanged plenty of words in that time. Yet this is the first time that Lee Moriarty and Action Andretti will go one-on-one, and it was the Pure Champion who chose to up the ante by putting the Pure Title into the mix! If Andretti can last the ten minute time limit with Moriarty, or actually defeat Lee in that time, he will earn a future shot at the Pure Championship! That's how Moriarty got his shot against Wheeler Yuta at DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024, going the distance with Yuta in a Proving Ground, perhaps Action Andretti will do the same tonight on Honor Club! TAG TEAM BATTLE... “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes & “The Spanish God” Sammy Guevara It was an utter shock to see former 3-Time TNT Champion Sammy Guevara show up on Honor Club last week, it was even more of a shock that he did so to help Dustin Rhodes against Dark Order. The history of “The Natural” and “The Spanish God” is fraught with fighting, from their last time in a ring together battling over the vacant TNT Title to their pair of singles bouts in 2020 to their tag team bout on the second-ever edition of DYNAMITE, there has been nothing but bad blood.  Yet Guevara seems to want something better for his future than what he's created in the past, especially given that he's got an example to set for his child. Guevara wants to earn the respect of Rhodes, of the Von Erichs, and show them that he is genuine about being a better man moving forward.  That means stepping into the ring tonight at Dustin's side and proving it inside the squared circle against one of the most experienced tag teams in Ring of Honor, the Dark Order combination of Alex Reynolds and John Silver! Shawn Dean & Carlie Bravo) Undisputed Kingdom and The Infantry are no strangers to one another; since the very first edition of ROH ON HONOR CLUB on March 2nd of 2023 these four men have been doing this dance. That opening battle in their never-ending war went in favor of Matt Taven and Mike Bennett, as did the rematch three months later, but Capt. Shawn Dean and Carlie Bravo finally got their first notch in the win column three weeks later. That wasn't the end of it though, not even close, because then Leyla Hirsch and Trish Adora became involved in the dynamic, creating a Mixed Trios bout won by Taven, Bennett, and Hirsch and leading to cessation of hostilities between the parties. That all changed after Taven and Bennett formed Undisputed Kingdom, won the ROH World Tag Team Titles, and thus becoming the target for every team in Ring of Honor. The Infantry came calling once again, firing the opening salvo in this new iteration of their war when they went the distance with Taven and Bennett on HONOR CLUB #58 in a Proving Ground match. As the first team to do so against Bennett and Taven during this third reign of theirs, The Infantry got their shot at SUPERCARD OF HONOR 2024 in Philadelphia and were robbed of that opportunity by the typical tactics of Undisputed Kingdom.  Ever resilient, The Infantry rebounded from that frustration with four consecutive victories on Honor Club and are now in line to make the most of that momentum tonight in Arlington with this championship rematch! Can Carlie Bravo and Capt. Shawn Dean finally achieve the goal they've been chasing since their ROH day one, or will the 3-Time Tag Champions shut this operation down again and retain the titles for the fifth time? Johnny TV vs. Fuego Del Sol Two weeks ago Fuego Del Sol made his victorious ROH debut as part of a wild ten-man tag alongside Top Flight, Action Andretti, and Komander and followed that up one week later by scoring a win over Jacoby Watts. Tonight during HONOR CLUB, Fuego is back in action for the third straight week, this time taking on Johnny TV in singles competition! After coming so close to winning the ROH World Television Title at DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024, Johnny TV wants to get right back into the spotlight with a victory here, but Fuego Del Sol isn't going to make it easy for Mister TV Ready!  SINGLES MATCH... The Conglomeration's Tomohiro Ishii vs. Premier Athletes' Tony Nese A former ROH World Television Champion himself, Tomohiro Ishii made his return to Ring of Honor at DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024 after five years away! Though he and Kyle O'Reilly, another returning ROH alumni, were unable to claim the World Tag Titles from Undisputed Kingdom, it was a strong reintroduction for Ishii to the ROH faithful. Tonight during HONOR CLUB, Ishii is right back at it, taking part in his first ROH singles match since SUPERCARD OF HONOR XII back in 2019, this time against the Premier Athletes' Tony Nese! On the July 27th edition of COLLISION Ishii, along with his Conglomeration partners ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe and O'Reilly, bested The Premier Athletes in a trios match so Nese is coming to even the score in Arlington! Will “The Stone Pitbull” be successful in his return to ROH singles competition, or will it be Nese and his ilk who manage to even the score with The Conglomeration? DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024 was a tremendous night of action this past Friday in Arlington, and with it came the crowning of two new ROH champions! In the ROH Pure Title clash between 3-Time champion Wheeler Yuta and Lee Moriarty, it was #TaigaStyle who found a way to end the 244-day reign of the Blackpool Combat Club member. Then in the ROH Women's World Television Championship match, Billie Starkz fell to Red Velvet in the champion's very first title defense since claiming the crown at SUPERCARD OF HONOR 2024 in April! In the other title affairs, all champions were able to maintain their titles, even ROH World TV Champion Atlantis Jr. who had to outlast five other men in the Survival of the Fittest bout. Dustin Rhodes and The Von Erich won an Eliminator Match over Dark Order to earn their spot in the ROH World Six-Man Title fight against Undisputed Kingdom at BATTLE OF THE BELTS XI, and the Texas-born trio made the most of it by becoming the new Six-Man Champions! That win put them in position to fight Undisputed Kingdom of Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, and Mike Bennett just twenty-four hours later at BATTLE OF THE BELTS XI, and the trio from Texas made the most of the opportunity, leading all to their first-ever Ring of Honor championship, and most importantly, Dustin to his first title in nearly a decade! It was an emotional moment for “The Natural”, just as it was for Marshall and Ross as they got to share it with their father Kevin, and though it is something all three men will likely feel for some time to come, they're already getting right back to the grind tonight on Honor Club! With an intention to be fighting champions, Dustin and The Von Erichs will put their newly won Six-Man Titles on the line against Iron Savages of Bronson and Boulder, and their running buddy Jacked Jameson! Wheeler Yuta vs. Anthony Henry Just a few days ago Wheeler Yuta stood as the defending 3-Time ROH Pure Champion, a feat unmatched by anyone else in the history of that title, a title no one else had even held on two occasions for that matter, but by the end of the night at DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024, he was dethroned by Shane Taylor Promotions' Lee Moriarty. It happens, no one reigns forever, but Wheeler can find pride in the fact his 244 days as Pure Champion mark him as the third-longest reigning title holder of all-time. In the aftermath of such a loss there are two choices for an individual, either wallow in the misery of loss or dust yourself up and try again, and knowing the heart of The Blackpool Combat Club, Wheeler Yuta is going to choose the latter.  So tonight on Honor Club Yuta begins that process of picking himself back up when he squares off with a man he's only faced once before, in tag team competition at that, one-half of The Workhorsemen: Anthony Henry! With his partner JD Drake out recovering from injury, Henry has been looking for where he fits in the scheme of things, partnering up with assorted individuals over the last couple months, but nothing quite fitting like JD Drake. Perhaps the ticket for Anthony Henry isn't finding other individuals to unite with but rather to go it alone until his tag partner returns, and show the ROH faithful the skill that have brought him championship success across the independent wrestling landscape over the last twenty years. Henry is a nasty striker, a tremendous grappler, with skills that match-up wonderfully against a competitor like Yuta, and he is going to give the former 3-Time Pure Champ a run for his money tonight on Honor Club! SINGLES MATCH... “The Machine” Brian Cage vs. “Azucar” Rocky Romero Brian Cage was moments away from claiming the ROH World Television Champion from Atlantis Jr. at DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024 this past Friday night. After eliminating both Lee Johnson and Johnny TV from the Survival of the Fittest contest, “The Machine” seemed poised to put the defending champion down and become the 33rd World TV Champion, but fate had other things in mind and Atlantis Jr. escaped Arlington that night with the championship still in his possession. Brian Cage thought he had it, thought he was leaving the Esports Stadium with his first ROH singles title, instead he is stepping into this match with Rocky Romero without a championship around his waist. To say that makes “The Machine” angry would be underselling it, and he aims to make the former multi-time ROH World Tag Champion suffer for what he lost on Saturday! ONE-ON-ONE... The Beast Mortos vs. AR Fox The Beast Mortos has been a busy man these last few days; from competing in the Royal Rampage on AEW RAMPAGE last Friday, to taking on Komander at DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024, then Hologram at COLLISION, and The Conglomeration just last night on DYNAMITE! In each instance he has demonstrated himself to be an utter force of nature inside the squared circle, especially in that victory over Komander last Friday night! Tonight he returns to ROH ON HONOR CLUB action for the first time since an April 25th Three Way bout where he pinned AR Fox to score the victory. Appropriately enough, his opponent for tonight's Honor Club offering will also be AR Fox, but this time it one-on-one, giving Fox a chance at redemption for that loss three months ago! ONE-ON-ONE... Robyn Renegade vs. Maya World Last year, on HONOR CLUB #43, Maya World stepped into a ROH ring for the first time to face ROH Women's World Champion Athena on the Proving Ground. The most interesting facet of this match-up wasn't Maya making her debut, but rather that she was doing so against her trainer with a  potential World Championship fight on the line. Maya was unsuccessful in her bid, but she impressed enough that the young competitor returned two weeks later to take on Queen Aminata.  Taking those two experiences to heart, Maya spent the first half of 2024 competing as much as she could against as many opponents as possible. California, Massachusetts, Florida, Texas, New Jersey, and even Philadelphia, she garnered experience wherever possible and returned to ROH competition a few weeks ago to face one of her trainer's most persistent foes in Red Velvet. Again, victory was not in the cards that night, but it was invaluable experience regardless of how things went. As for Robyn Renegade, she's been fighting since the very first episode of ROH ON HONOR CLUB to better herself and figure out what it takes to become one of the best in the game. The Undisputed Kingdom—Roderick Strong & ROH World Tag Team Champs Mike Bennett & Matt Taven vs. “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes & The Von Erichs—Ross & Marshall (with the legendary Kevin Von Erich)! ROH Board of Directors member Paul Wight joined commentary for this match.  Marshall hip tossed Mike Bennett. Taven tagged in and Marshall hip tossed him too! The Von Erichs hit tandem offense on Taven. Marshall connected with a standing moonsault and then a dropkick to Taven! Ross rocked Roddy with a sling blade. Dustin tagged in and drilled Bennett with lariats. Dustin power slammed Roddy. Dustin drilled Taven with a bulldog! Dustin followed up with a Canadian Destroyer on Taven! Dustin nailed Bennett with the Cross Rhodes and then a pile driver. Dustin went for the cover, but Roddy and Taven broke up the pin attempt. The Undisputed Kingdom triple teamed Dustin with a flurry of offense! Roddy and Matt grabbed the title belts. Ref Aubrey Edwards intercepted them, but as she was distracted by that, Taven smashed the cowbell into Dustin’s skull for a near fall! Shibata ran to the ring and applied the Iron Claw on Taven. Kevin put Roderick in the Iron Claw! Marshall and Ross battered Bennett with a knee strike and a discus lariat! Dustin planted Bennett and scored the pin!
