The Righteous (Dutch & Vincent) vs. JD Drake & BEEF The Righteous of Dutch and Vincent are in hot pursuit of the ROH World Tag Titles held by Dustin Rhodes and Sammy Guevara, and just as intensely interested in making their championship aspirations a personal attack on “The Natural”. That video embedded above is just one indicator of the lengths Dutch and Vincent are willing to go to, but we've also witnessed them assault the tag champs seemingly at will, all while the sounds of that cowbell echo in the distance. Tonight The Righteous continue to make their case as challengers for the ROH World Tag Titles when they face BEEF and JD Drake, men who were victims of a heinous assault by Shane Taylor Promotions  one week ago. The odd couple of BEEF and Drake have shown great promise as a team, but can The Righteous be stopped at this point? PURE DIVISION ACTION... Undisputed Kingdom's Matt Taven vs. Premier Athletes' Josh Woods Things are escalating between ROH Grand Slam champion Matt Taven and ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty as the former continues his pursuit of the only ROH championship he's never held. Last week it was running off Shane Taylor Promotions as they assaulted JD Drake and BEEF, but this week it takes the form of a Pure Rules match between former Pure Champion Josh Woods and Taven! Surprisingly this is the first-time these two men have ever met inside the squared circle one-on-one, though they have been mutual participants in several multi-man affairs during their Ring of Honor tenure.  Woods has also been in pursuit of reclaiming that Pure Title ever since Wheeler Yuta dethroned him two years ago, so this battle tonight has a definite impact on the future of Lee Moriarty's title reign. Will Matt Taven continue to justify his status as a contender with another Pure Rules win, or will this be the night “The Technical Beast” Josh Woods reminds everyone why he was champ for 201 days? Yet he somehow found a way to become an even bigger threat by signing on with The Don Callis Family and garnering support of that...gentleman...as well as “The Murderhawk Monster” Lance Archer, AEW International Champion Konosuke Takeshita, and “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher.  Last night on DYNAMITE The DCF went to war against a quartet consisting of Will Ospreay, Mark Davis, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Ricochet in a little preview of what's to come at FULL GEAR 2024, but tonight “The Machine” goes it solo in his second ROH World TV Title defense! After defeating Komander last month on HONOR CLUB 87, Cage now faces a familiar foe as AR Fox steps up to challenge for the championship! Fox and Cage are no strangers to one another, not only have they battled twice with the Ring of Honor World Six-Man Titles at stake, but they've also been foes in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, AAW, and assorted other independents over the last decade. Of the singles matches on record, Cage is in the lead 2-1, factor in a Triple Threat match from 2016 and their head-to-head encounters turn to a 2-2 tie, but all that is ancient history. This is Ring of Honor, and here these two competitors have never met one-on-one before tonight's edition of ROH ON HONOR CLUB, much less with a championship as storied as the ROH World TV Title at stake. Can AR Fox rise to the occasion and score his first Ring of Honor championship or will “The Machine” smash his way through another opponent trying to take his first ROH singles title away? ONE-ON-ONE... The Conglomeration's Tomohiro Ishii vs. Undisputed Kingdom's Mike Bennett With less than a week until his ROH World Championship clash with “The Nueva” Chris Jericho on DYNAMITE, and ahead of his Trios bout on RAMPAGE tomorrow, “The Stone Pitbull” Tomohiro Ishii will be in action tonight against Undisputed Kingdom's Mike Bennett! Most recently these two men clashed during DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024 when UK defended the ROH World Tag Titles against Ishii and Kyle O'Reilly, but they've fought several times, including during the 2014 WORLD TAG LEAGUE for New Japan Pro Wrestling, yet never once in a singles match. Tonight on HONOR CLUB that changes as Ishii prepares for his ROH World Championship battle, while the fights between The Conglomeration and The Undisputed Kingdom continue! Kyle O'Reilly has long been at the center of this struggle between the two sides given his relationship with the men involved, but this one is all about Bennett and Ishii going head-to-head for the first time! PROVING GROUND MATCH... ROH Women's World Champion Athena vs. Top Flight's Leila Grey While the tensions between ROH Women's World Champion Athena, Minion Bestie Lexy Nair, and former ROH Women's World TV Champion Billie Starkz continue to thicken, there are still plenty of women out there who haven't gone toe-to-toe with “The Forever Champion”. She may be the longest reigning champion in the history of ROH at 713 days, her single reign having eclipsed Jay Lethal's combined 707 days across two World Title runs, with 24 successful title defenses to go along with her 28 Proving Ground and four Eliminator Match victories but there's a wealth of talented professional wrestlers out there who haven't had their opportunity to be the one to end this run.  One such competitor is Top Flight's Leila Grey; despite Leila Grey being a part of the ROH roster since  June 2023 and both being part of AEW since May 2022, these two women have never faced one another in any match, not even so much as shared participation in a Battle Royale, but that changes tonight! Leila Grey is stepping onto the Proving Ground in hopes of earning a Women's World Title fight with Athena, a situation where all she has to do is last 10 minutes with the champ, but a feat that 26 other women have failed to accomplish. As a matter of fact only one of those women, Lady Frost during HONOR CLUB #86, was even able to push the match past the eight-minute mark, lasting 8:34 before “The Fallen Goddess” put Frost away in her second Proving Ground attempt.  Can Leila Grey be the first woman to hit that 10-minute time limit and earn a title match? If so, she will be the first woman across Athena's 57 ROH singles matches since FINAL BATTLE 2022 to not lose to “The Fallen Goddess”! It may not be the same as a pinfall or submission victory, certainly not the same ballpark as a title win, but it would be a historic occasion nonetheless for Leila Grey to go the distance with Athena! ONE-ON-ONE... NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion Gabe Kidd vs. SAP's Angelico The first time Gabe Kidd ever entered into the Ring of Honor sphere was on December 28, 2018 when he challenged Jay Lethal for the ROH World Title at an independent event in London England. At that point Kidd was just past his seventh anniversary as a wrestler, but he was far from the brash man who has held the NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship since May 11th when he put Eddie Kingston on the shelf as a result of their No Rope Last Man Standing match at NJPW STRONG RESURGENCE 2024. That came on the heels of the two men going to a double count out in their Continental Crown fight at NJPW BATTLE IN THE VALLEY 2024 two months prior, meaning another challenge towards the ROH World Championship on Kidd's resume as it, along with the AEW Continental Championship and NJPW STRONG Openweight Title, comprised the Continental Crown.  However it wasn't until October 10th and HONOR CLUB 85 that this BULLET CLUB War Dog made his debut for ROH proper in a successful Openweight Title defense against Anthony Henry. That evening Kidd looked as impressive as ever, showing the ROH faithful why he's such a force to be reckoned with, and though he recently made headlines getting into a scuffle with Kenny Omega at NJPW's POWER STRUGGLE 2024 event, Kidd's back in ROH tonight during HONOR CLUB to take on Angelico! It's “The Mad Man” versus one of the most laid back individuals to ever lace up a pair of wrestling boots, a wrecking ball of a competitor versus a master of the llave style; will Angelico use his imperturbable nature to upset the NJPW STRONG Openweight champ? SINGLES MATCH... IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion Kevin Knight vs. SAP's Serpentico Speaking of NJPW, in the second match featuring a New Japan champion versus a Spanish Announce Project member, Serpentico is set to face IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Champion Kevin Knight! Though we've seen Knight compete in a handful of AEW matches, the last during the FORBIDDEN DOOR 2022: BUY-IN, this is his first time in ROH competition and Knight has come so far since that last AEW outing! Not only did he enter into BEST OF THE SUPER JUNIORS 31 tournament this year, scoring eight points with victories over TJP, Kosei Fujita, Clark Connors, and El Desperado, he also united with KUSHIDA to defeat BULLET CLUB War Dogs of Clark Connors & Drilla Moloney and claim the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Titles for the second time at KING OF PRO-WRESTLING 2024 just over a month ago! Now Knight comes to ROH for the very first time to take on the lucha-influenced stylings of SAP's Serpentico, a rare singles match for both individuals as Serpentico's last was a July victory over Griff Garrison. As for Knight, prior to his November 8th fight with David Finlay for NJPW FIGHTING SPIRIT UNLEASHED 2024, he hadn't fought one-on-one since battling Shelton Benjamin for DEFY back in September.  Though Serpentico's track record isn't the best, he always fights with heart, and perhaps that tag team victory two weeks ago during HONOR CLUB 89 will propel him towards victory in this bout tonight!  ONE-ON-ONE... NEVER Openweight Champion Shingo Takagi vs. Premier Athletes' Ariya Daivari In the third contest on tonight's edition of ROH ON HONOR CLUB featuring a NJPW champion we will see Premier Athletes' Ariya Daivari take on current NEVER Openweight Champion Shingo Takagi! Now Takagi is no stranger to ROH action, in fact he reigned as one-half of the ROH World Tag Team Champions from March 3rd to March 30th of 2007, defeating The Briscoes at FIFTH YEAR FESTIVAL: LIVERPOOL before losing them back to Jay and Mark at ALL STAR EXTRAVAGANZA III. Not only that but from June 3, 2006 until April 28, 2007, Shingo competed on more than 20 ROH events, even challenging Takeshi Morishima for the ROH World Title at GOOD TIMES, GREAT MEMORIES on the final night of his 10-month run. Shingo appeared a handful more times over the subsequent decade, even participating in the historic G1 SUPERCARD event at Madison Square Garden on April 6, 2019, but it wasn't until HONOR CLUB 18 that he arrived in the new era of honor! That night he and fellow LIJ members BUSHI and Hiromu Takahashi unsuccessfully challenged Brian Cage, Toa Liona, and Bishop Kaun for the ROH World Six-Man Titles. That was certainly disappointing for Shingo, but for the long-time ROH faithful it was a treat to see the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion back in Ring of Honor even if for only one night. Thankfully the bond between AEW/ROH/NJPW runs strong and tonight Shingo returns to the fold to face one of the most insufferable, obnoxious, yet supremely talented, individuals in ROH today: Ariya Daivari! No doubt he will have “Smart” Mark Sterling at his side for this one, so maybe we will be lucky enough to watch the ambulance chaser get dropped again this week... TAG TEAM ACTION... Shane Taylor Promotions (ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty & Shane Taylor) vs.  BEEF & JD Drake Shane Taylor Promotions added some additional firepower to their arsenal with the recent addition of The Infantry to their rankings, and that alliance immediately paid dividends for Capt. Shawn Dean and Carlie Bravo in the form of two consecutive tag team victories, including one over Spanish Announce Project.  Tonight however, it's not about the newest members to the STP fold but rather the original members of this iteration, ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty and Shane Taylor! We know Undisputed Kingdom's Matt Taven is in hot pursuit of the title around Moriarty's waist, but that's something Lee is going to have to set aside so he and Shane Taylor can focus on the tag team fight at hand. BEEF and JD Drake were victorious in their first ROH outing as a team three weeks ago, beating Preston Vance and Peter Avalon, but came up short in their RAMPAGE tussle with Top Flight on November 8th. Still the brawny brawlers demonstrated some serious aptitude as a team, and their chemistry could bloom into something to be reckoned with down the line.  Unfortunately they don't have that kind of time to find their groove, not when they've got to step into the fight with competitors like Shane Taylor and Lee Moriarty. This is an education under fire for BEEF and JD, on-the-job training as a tag team against two men who cover a wild breadth stylistically. Shane T hits hard and moves fast, Lee Moriarty is a surgeon in that ring with some nasty strikes of his own to compliment that ground game; together they're a tough act to game plan for even the most seasoned team, and that is not what we've got with BEEF and JD Drake. Those two are going to have to gel together fast to get ready for this fight, or they'll be the ones looking up at the lights as the referee counts three!

From the first time Ring of Honor came to the Hammerstein Ballroom on May 10, 2008 for A NEW LEVEL until MANHATTAN MAYHEM 2019 on July 20th, the venue was hallowed ground for ROH. It hosted many of the most pivotal fights of that decade, matches like Bryan Danielson versus Takeshi Morishima at FINAL BATTLE 2008, Kevin Steen versus El Generico in a Ladder War at FINAL BATTLE 2012, Jay Briscoe winning his first ROH World Title at SUPERCARD OF HONOR VII, The Young Bucks versus LIJ at WAR OF THE WORLDS 2017, and so much more.  It was a venue that created an environment unlike any other, one where ROH ran more events than any other wrestling company, and a place fans have clamored for ROH to return to ever since SUPERCARD OF HONOR 2022 launched a new era of honor! Well the wait is over; after five years away, on Friday night December 20th, live on Honor Club, Ring of Honor returns to the Hammerstein Ballroom to present FINAL BATTLE 2024! Katusyori Shibata is set to face Aaron Solo, Abadon is back in action after coming up short in the Ring of Horrors match two weeks ago, and there's so much more in store for the ROH faithful tonight! ROH WOMEN'S WORLD TELEVISION TITLE STREET FIGHT... Red Velvet(c) vs. Diamante Five weeks ago, HONOR CLUB 85, ROH Women's World TV Champion Red Velvet faced Diamante with her title on the line, and although she left the night with the title still in her possession thanks to a disqualification finish, Velvet was battered and bruised at the hands of her challenger. Prior to last week's return as seen above, that was the last time Red stepped into an ROH ring, though she was able to take part in a six-date tour with CMLL in Mexico.  While that tour was a tremendous learning experience for Red Velvet, tonight it's all about her championship title and even the score for the beating Diamante delivered five weeks ago! This will be just the third Street Fight in the history of ROH's Women's Division, both of those with the ROH Women's World Title at stake, and the most recent taking place between Athena and Kiera Hogan during HONOR CLUB 17 last year. In both previous Street Fights the champion retained their title; will Red Velvet join that short list or will tonight be the night Diamante wins her first championship in Ring of Honor? ONE-ON-ONE... Premier Athletes' Josh Woods vs. Komander Two weeks ago during HONOR CLUB 88, Komander was able to pick up a win against Premier Athletes' Ariya Daivari despite the distractions and interference provided by Daivari's cohorts. For Komander it was match to get back on track after failing to defeat Brian Cage in their ROH World TV Championship match, but tonight he's got to deal with “Smart” Mark Sterling and PA once again as “The Technical Beast” Josh Woods steps up to face the high-flying luchador! Will the former ROH Pure Champion fall victim to the Cielito Lindo, or will Woods and his ilk find a way to bring Komander crashing down to the ground? EMERGENCY M.E.M! It's been months since things were copacetic between ROH Women's World Champion Athena, her minion bestie Lexy Nair, and former ROH Women's World TV Champion Billie Starkz. Basically since DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024 when Starkz lost the title, she has been on the outs with “The Fallen Goddess” and nothing she's tried has made things right. It's gotten to the point that Starkz had given up on even trying, walking out on Athena celebrating her own record-setting and refusing to be there for her “Minion Overloard” during the Ring of Horror match with Abadon two weeks ago. Then we've got the moment captured above where Starkz attempted to engage with Athena only to be rebuked, a problem dumped on Lexy Nair's plate, and left standing there frustrated once again. That brings them all to tonight where an Emergency M.E.M has been called yet again! Will anything change for Billie Starkz, or will this be another moment of humiliation for the former Women's World TV Champion at the hands of someone she's looked upon as a mentor for the last 16 months? FOUR-WAY TAG... Gates of Agony (Kaun & Toa Liona) vs. Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) vs. Dark Order (Alex Reynolds & John Silver) vs. Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson) We know The Righteous are hot on the chase for a shot at ROH World Tag Champions Dustin Rhodes and Sammy Guevara, in fact both teams will be in action tonight during HONOR CLUB, but Dutch and Vincent aren't the only pair wanting to get in the title picture. Undisputed Kingdom of Mike Bennett and Matt Taven, Gates of Agony of Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona, and the Dark Order duo of Alex Reynolds and John Silver have all had their eyes on those titles since the moment Dustin and Sammy claimed them. For Taven and Bennett it's reclaiming the titles they lost to the Texas two and becoming the only team besides The Briscoes to win four World Tag Titles. For Kaun and Toa, it's about adding those titles to a resume that includes two reigns as an ROH World Six-Man Champion for Toa and three for Kaun while paying off their undefeated, seventeen win, tag team streak in ROH with a title victory. For Reynolds and Silver it's about living up to the potential that the late-Mr. Brodie Lee saw in them when Dark Order first formed and earning their first title in ROH.  Then there is Grizzled Young Veterans, Zack Gibson and James Drake; for them this is a huge moment because it is their Ring of Honor debut and a chance to put themselves into the title conversations with a victory tonight! Dustin Rhodes and Sammy Guevara, The Righteous, they may have plenty on their tables dealing with each other, but they should keep an eye on this one because the winner may be a glimpse of their future! SINGLES MATCH... Katsuyori Shibata vs. Aaron Solo “The Wrestler” Katsuyori Shibata is on a roll in Ring of Honor competition! After defeating The Butcher last week during HONOR CLUB 89, the former Pure Champion has won his last five bouts in ROH and extended his record to 15-2 overall. Tonight Aaron Solo steps up to the plate to square up with Shibata, continuing to demonstrate a willingness to test himself against the best competitors around despite coming up short in recent bouts with Tomohiro Ishii, Rocky Romero, and even a Pure Rules contest with Matt Taven. Clearly Solo is learning with every fight he enters, and every competitor he's tested against, but will this be the one where he turns the corner and secures the biggest victory of his ROH career? Or will it be Shibata moving to 16-2 in his ROH career and continuing to show the world why he is called “The Wrestler”? It's Thursday night once again which means Ring of Honor action is coming your way with the latest edition of ROH ON HONOR CLUB! Premier Athletes' Josh Woods vs. AR Fox AR Fox is a man with a target on his back, and it's not just because he's stepping into the ring with former ROH Pure Champion Josh Woods tonight during HONOR CLUB. It's also because this Saturday on AEW COLLISION he's got a date with The Patriarchy's Nick Wayne stemming from the assault Fox and Swerve Strickland perpetrated on Nick some 15 months ago. Fox knows that is going to be a fight, but he's got to find the ability to focus on the task at hand or this Premier Athlete is going to snap him in half! Woods has had a rough go the last month in ROH competition; he came up short in a Proving Ground match with then-ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe as well as in battle with “The Stone Pitbull” Tomohiro Ishii just last week, but this is a huge chance to rebound for “The Technical Beast”. Josh Woods has demonstrated many times over that he's got the heart and abilities of a champion, perhaps this will be the beginning of the road back to wearing a title around his waist. On the other hand, AR Fox definitely needs this victory under his belt heading into a bout with Christian Cage's “Prodigy” on Saturday night. So the question may be which man needs it more, and which one will dig deeper to see they get the victory on Honor Club? SINGLES MATCH... The Conglomeration's Tomohiro Ishii vs. Aaron Solo Speaking of The Conglomeration's Tomohiro Ishii, just 24 hours after pinning ROH World Champion Chris Jericho in the Trios Fight Without Honor on DYNAMITE, “The Stone Pitbull” is right back in action! Last week's victory over Josh Woods may have been Ishii's first match back in ROH since Jericho's Learning Tree assaulted the man and forced him to return to Japan, but he's still won three straight singles matches in ROH during 2024 in addition to that pin on “The Nueve”. As for Aaron Solo, he looked quite impressive in his Pure Rules bouts with Angelico and Matt Taven, as well as his singles clash with Rocky Romero, but he needs to get on the winning track if he hopes to get near a championship title anytime soon. A victory over this former ROH World TV Champion is just the kind of thing Solo needs to start building momentum in Ring of Honor, but he's going to have to take hits from some of the hardest hands in the game if he hopes to garner a victory. Will Tomohiro Ishii tally a fourth straight ROH victory tonight during HONOR CLUB, or will we see Aaron Solo pull off an upset victory over “The Stone Pitbull”? HEAD-TO-HEAD... Diamante vs. Rachael Ellering Diamante and Rachael Ellering have some history over the course of their wrestling careers. Not only did they meet in tag team competition back on HONOR CLUB #45 at the beginning of 2024, but they also faced off during the 2020 AEW Women's Tag Team Cup Tournament. Both those matches were won by Diamante's team, but their history predates either of those with several singles matches around the independent circuit. Diamante holds the edge in those bouts, 2-1 in one-on-one situations, but it's been over six years since their last meeting and each woman has grown greatly in the interim. Diamante comes to this fight off a 90-second win on last week's HONOR CLUB, and that was on the heels of a ROH Women's World TV Title bout with Red Velvet that ended when Diamante cracked Red across the skull with the title belt. There's no question she wants another shot at the title, but she's going to have to go through Rachael Ellering to get there and Rachael has won three of her last four ROH matches. This is a tough one to call between two of the toughest women in Ring of Honor; who will move forward towards their shared goals of championship success in ROH? ONE-ON-ONE... ROH World Tag Team Champion Sammy Guevara vs. Preston Vance As one-half of the ROH World Tag Team Champions, Sammy Guevara always has a target on his back from teams looking to take what he and Dustin Rhodes have earned. The Righteous certainly put the champions on notice with the assault they perpetrated last week, but Guevara has to lace up his boots and move on because he's got a tremendous fight on his hands tonight on HONOR CLUB! Tonight, for the first time ever, Sammy Guevara will go one-on-one with Preston Vance as the former anticipates a clash with The Righteous while the latter searches for a new direction in his wrestling career. Vance stepped into tag team competition last week with Peter Avalon as his partner, he challenged Lee Moriarty for the ROH Pure Title during HONOR CLUB #83, and neither of those endeavors went in his favor. Perhaps a victory over one-half of the ROH World Tag Team Champions will lead Vance towards the direction he needs to go, or perhaps Sammy Guevara will look to this a way to send Dutch and Vincent a message about what's in store for them! AN EMERGENCY M.E.M!! “The Fallen Goddess” Athena may have survived her Ring of Horror fight with Abadon to retain the ROH Women's World Championship, and extend her record-shattering reign to nearly 700 days, but what about the state of the minions? “Minion Bestie” Lexy Nair may still be standing strong in support of Athena, but it's been clear for weeks that Billie Starkz is not even reading the same book as those two, much less the same page. That's pretty much been the case since Billie lost the ROH Women's World TV Title to Red Velvet at DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024, and Starkz actually took the abuse for far longer than any rational person before finally telling Athena and Lexy she was done. Even after that, following Billie's victory over Blair Onyx, Lexy still tried to recruit Starkz into being there for Athena in the Ring of Horror bout but Billie was having none of it. Not only did she walk away from Lexy, but after Athena's victory Nair was the only one there to help the Women's World Champion walk out of the arena. Perhaps it is all that that's led Athena to calling this Emergency M inion E mpowerment M eeting tonight during HONOR CLUB, perhaps her and Billie Starkz are finally going to have it out about all that's gone on the last four months, but the question is where will they go from there if that is the case? Can these three women find their way back to where they used to be before DBD 2024, or is this the end of the M.I.T? Athena(c) vs. Abadon Abadon has been lurking around the ROH Women's World Champion for weeks now, putting fear into the heart of “The Fallen Goddess”, causing Athena to jump at her own shadow, to constantly look over her own shoulder to see if “The Living Dead Girl” was lurking, and quite possibly the reason why Athena's championship celebration has been delayed nearly 50 days since she broke Samoa Joe's 20-year record as the longest-reigning title holder in ROH's history.  Tonight there is no more running, no more ducking or dodging the threat that Abadon represents to the ROH Women's World Champion, because tonight they will be chained at the wrist in a Halloween Ring of Horror Match where anything goes, falls count anywhere, and the ROH Women's World Title is on the line! During the course of her reign, Athena has survived a 2-of-3 Falls Tables Match against Nyla Rose and a Chicago Street Fight against Kiera Hogan, but over the course of the last 691 days she has not experienced anything like this Ring of Horror match set to take place tonight during ROH ON HONOR CLUB! Abadon brings a sense of uneasiness to every fight they are involved in, the feeling that something horrific could happen at any moment, and when the World Title is on the line with absolutely no rules constraining them from unleashing said horror, this may just be the last night Athena calls herself the “Forever Champion”!  That being said, if Athena somehow survives the hell Abadon is set to unleash, who is left to step up and challenge her for the Women's World Title? She's already put down 23 challenges to her title from 19 different women, not to mention turning away 32 potential challenges in Eliminator/Proving Ground bout, so if not Abadon than who? That's a question that may pop up come Friday morning, but for now the one that must be posited is what to do about Abadon? How does one survive a Ring of Horror against a competitor who embodies that word?  PURE RULES... Undisputed Kingdom's Matt Taven vs. Aaron Solo There is only one title in Ring of Honor that Undisputed Kingdom's Matt Taven has never held, a title with rules unlike any other in the promotion, rules that Taven himself has never experienced: the Pure Championship. By the time Matt Taven had his first match in ROH, the Pure Title had been unified with the ROH World Title by Bryan Danielson, seemingly making the possibility of Pure Champion Matt Taven a pipe dream. All that changed in September 2020 when the tournament began to crown the first Pure Champion since August 12, 2006, making it a distinct possibility Taven could become the only man to hold every title in company history, yet he never set foot into the Pure Division, let alone wrestled a single match under Pure Rules. Tonight on HONOR CLUB that changes as, coming off a tag team victory over ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty and Shane Taylor six days ago on RAMPAGE, Matt Taven takes on his first-ever Pure Rules bout against Aaron Solo! Stylistically the Pure Rules suit Solo, but this will be just his second contest under those guidelines, his first taking place during HONOR CLUB #78 just two months ago, so he's still understanding the intricacies of how the Pure game can be played.  Will this be the night where Solo steps up a level and takes down a ROH Grand Slam Champion, or will it be Matt Taven who secures his first Pure victory and perhaps moves closer to a shot at Lee Moriarty's championship? ONE-ON-ONE... Premier Athletes' Ariya Daivari vs. Komander Coming off his failed ROH World Television Championship challenge against “The Machine” Brian Cage, Komander is right back in action looking to earn another shot! This time around he faces Premier Athletes' Ariya Daivari in their first-ever meeting inside the squared circle. Overall Komander is coming into this fight with three wins in his last four ROH matches while Daivari comes in off a loss to Sammy Guevara in his last ROH singles match. Can Komander rebound strongly or will Daivari be able to turn Komander's championship defeat into a victory of his own? TAG MATCH... BEEF & JD Drake vs. Peter Avalon & Preston Vance Last Friday on RAMPAGE we saw JD Drake step up to BEEF's side in lieu of his Workhorsemen partner Anthony Henry's injury, accompanying him to the ring for his fight against The Beast Mortos, and though that singles outing did not go BEEF's way, Drake is standing by BEEF's side for this tag team battle against another impromptu duo: Preston Vance and Peter Avalon! While BEEF and Drake have nothing in common save Anthony Henry, Vance and Avalon don't even have that, all they've got are a handful of matches as opponents while Vance was still with Dark Order and Avalon rode with JD Drake as The Wingmen. It was a little over two years ago that Vance, under his Ten moniker and alongside Evil Uno, defeated Drake and Avalon in tag team competition, but now the roles are all mixed up and everyone here is looking for their place in the grand scheme of ROH. Will Drake and BEEF gel as well as Henry and JD, or can Avalon and Vance get on the same page to score a victory over these tag team partner-in-laws (or something) by marriage? TRIOS MATCH... Dark Order (Alex Reynolds, Evil Uno, & John Silver) vs.  Iron Savages (Boulder & Bronson) and Jacked Jameson Dark Order has been in pursuit of the ROH World Six-Man Championship titles for months on end, facing Dustin Rhodes and The Von Erichs in an Eliminator Match at DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024 last July where the winners moved on to fight Undisputed Kingdom at BATTLE OF THE BELTS XI to crown new Six-Man Champions. Dustin, Marshall, and Ross were victorious that night, and since then Dark Order have been engaged with “The Natural” in one form or another, be it alongside Sammy Guevara as part of the ROH World Tag Title picture, or with the Von Erich boys.  Yet in their last ROH outing, Alex Reynolds and John Silver were able to take down the duo of Jacked Jameson and Boulder in the latter's first Ring of Honor match as a tag team, but that doesn't mean Iron Savages are down with Dark Order yet. Tonight during HONOR CLUB the whole of the unit, Jameson, Boulder, and Bronson, are gunning for the full Dark Order in trios competition! Can Iron Savages prove the dominant trio when fighting all together, or will it be the experienced edge of Dark Order that wins out tonight in this clash of potential championship contenders? Premier Athletes' Josh Woods vs. The Conglomeration's Tomohiro Ishii The last time we saw Tomohiro Ishii in ROH competition, the former ROH World TV Champion was putting down Ariya Daivari and Tony Nese over the course of a few weeks in August. Shortly thereafter Chris Jericho and his Learning Tree took out Ishii, forcing him to return to Japan to recover, but also take part in NJPW's ROAD TO DESTRUCTION 2024 tour in September, the ROAD TO KING OF PRO WRESTLING 2024 tour in October, as well as the ROYAL QUEST IV event at London's Crystal Palace. Through that all, he only took part in one singles match, a RevPro loss to Luke Jacobs with the Undisputed British Heavyweight Title on the line, but now he's ready to get back to competition here in the states as evidenced by this past Wednesday night on DYNAMITE as seen in the above embedded video. It was just about two years ago, during Jericho's first reign with the ROH World Title, that “The Stone Pitbull” wore “The Ocho” out with his heavy hands in their ROH World Championship bout, and it looks like Ishii wants another shot at Jericho now that he's “The Nueve”! That quest begins tonight as Ishii tries to go through Josh Woods during HONOR CLUB while Woods looks to rebound from the Proving Ground loss to Mark Briscoe he suffered in his last ROH singles bout! Will Ishii make a case for being the first challenger for Jericho's second ROH World Title reign or will it be the former ROH Pure Champion who starts to make his case for a World Title challenge?
