- ROH on Honor Club Episode 104 Preview
Ring of Honor Wrestling is red-hot after GLOBAL WARS 2025 and the amazing championship matches that went down in front of the Brisbane, Australia faithful! Now that rolls into tonight's edition of ROH ON HONOR CLUB featuring more of the greatest professional wrestling on the planet today! ROH World Television Champion Komander puts his title on the line against Lee Johnson after “Big Shotty” survived Proving Ground competition, plus the stars of CMLL return to ROH for a massive trios battle that also includes ROH World Tag Champion Sammy Guevara! 3-Time Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta returns to ROH for singles competition against another returning athlete in Fuego Del Sol, Abadon returns to face Rachael Ellering one-on-one, and we've got a huge 12-Man tag team battle on tap as well! In addition, Gates of Agony will be in tag team competition and Billie Starkz will also compete during this edition of ROH ON HONOR CLUB! Ring of Honor is loaded up this week with some of the best in professional wrestling kicking off at 7pm ET/6pm CT tonight exclusively on Honor Club! In addition to a new episode releasing every Thursday night, Honor Club is also the home for almost 23 years of ROH history featuring the world's finest wrestlers that help shaped the last two decades of professional wrestling! We have television archives dating back to 2011, hundreds of live events beginning with 2/23/02's THE ERA OF HONOR BEGINS, and the “Best Of...” collection continues to expand every week! We've got collections featuring Kenny Omega, Claudio Castagnoli, Jay Lethal, and more, plus we are celebrating ROH's 23rd anniversary on February 23rd with the addition of ROH:YEAR FOUR that features the first Steel Cage Warfare, Kenta Kobashi, KENTA, one wild Summer, and the beginning of Bryan Danielson's reign atop ROH! LUCHA LIBRE ACTION! ROH World Tag Champion Sammy Guevara, Dark Panther, & Fuego vs. Barbaro Cavernario, Hechicero & Soberano Jr. It's going to be an action-packed night of action tonight on Honor Club, and a huge part of that can be credited to this trios bout featuring ROH World Tag Champion Sammy Guevara and the athletes of CMLL! Now Guevara is freshly off a successful defense of the ROH World Tag Titles against MxM Collection during GLOBAL WARS 2024, but sadly he is still without his physical title belt as Mansoor and Mason Madden absconded with it once again following the match. Their reckoning will come soon enough. For now “The Spanish God” has to focus on this lucha libre trios spectacular featuring four men making their ROH returns after five-plus years, and one man making his first honorable excursion! First Guevara's partners: for Fuego this is his first visit to Ring of Honor though ROH and CMLL have a bond dating back nearly a decade. With more than 20 years of experience inside the CMLL ring, as well as excursions with New Japan where he entered into the 2014 and 2016 Super Junior Tag Tournaments, Fuego is a formidable ally for Sammy in this trios contest. The same can be said for Dark Panther and his decade-plus fighting for CMLL, but unlike Fuego, Dark Panther has a little Ring of Honor experience on his resume. Back in 2016 Panther was a participant in the Survival of the Fittest Tournament, advancing in his Four-Way Qualifier, but ultimately was the first man eliminated in the Six-Way Finals. He's been a CMLL Arena Coliseo Tag Team Champion (as was Fuego), competed on the joint-NJPW FANTASTICA MANIA in 2024, and now comes back to ROH for the first time in nearly nine years to unite with Guevara and Fuego for this trios bout! As for the other side of the match, all three members of the team took part in the SUMMER SUPERCARD event in August 2019 with El Barbaro Cavernario and Hechicero on one side of a trios match against a team that included El Soberano Jr., albeit the losing side. In addition, both Barbaro and Hechicero were part of the GLOBAL WARS ESPECTACULAR 2019 tour, Hechicero was part of the original ROH World Six-Man Championship Tournament in 2016, and Soberano Jr took part in MANHATTAN MAYHEM 2019, STEEL CITY EXCELLENCE, and MASTER OF THE CRAFT 2019. So suffice to say, this trio is well-versed in Ring of Honor competition, and are ready to bring their particular style of wrestling action back to the 21st century's most influential wrestling promotion! ROH WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH... Komander(c) vs. Lee Johnson Back on HONOR CLUB #101, by the grace of EJ Nduka, “Big Shotty” Lee Johnson survived the Proving Ground's 10-Minute time limit to earn a shot at Komander's ROH World Television Championship. Across the 13+ year history of the stipulation, only a few individuals have succeeded in earning a championship opportunity via Proving Ground, and very few champions have ever lost more than one. Yet Komander, in the span of four weeks, has slipped up in two of them. The first time it was QT Marshall who earned his World TV Title fight on the Proving Ground, and though he was unable to parlay that into a championship victory, he demonstrated to any other hopeful prospects that it is possible. Lee Johnson and EJ Nduka must have been paying attention because they were also able to take advantage of the situations presented and eke out a time limit draw. That means tonight, in his fourth title defense and third in five weeks, Komander will lay it all on the line against “Big Shotty”! We know Komander is capable of putting in some serious time inside the ring, he's a man who went 25+ minutes in the Survival of the Fittest bouts at FINAL BATTLE 2023 and 2024, the latter ending with him claiming the TV Title in the first place. Perhaps there's something about the pressure of the 10-minute time limit that gets in his head, because it's not as if all Komander's matches go 10+. For example, he beat Claudio Castagnoli in the 2024 Continental Classic in under eight minutes and shut down QT's title shot in under 10, so it seems the Proving Ground aspect of it may be what has done him in these last two outings. That being said, now that he's taken the measure of Lee Johnson and knows how willing EJ Nduka is to lend a hand to his tag team partner, Komander will be better prepared for this championship defense. That seemed to be the case with QT Marshall, so we shall see if it plays out here against “Big Shotty” as well! RETURN TO HONOR... The Death Riders' Wheeler Yuta vs. Fuego Del Sol In the history of ROH's Pure Championship there have been 15 title reigns, but only one man has held that title on multiple occasions, three to be exact: The Death Riders' Wheeler Yuta! Though he now reigns as one-third of the AEW World Trios Champions alongside Claudio Castagnoli and “The Bastard” PAC, Yuta's ROH roots date back to September 2020 when he participated in the tournament to crown a new Pure Champion. Though he was knocked out of competition in the first round of that tourney, Yuta continued to compete on ROH events through the Spring of 2021. However it wasn't until SUPERCARD OF HONOR 2022, where he claimed his first Pure Title from “The Technical Beast” Josh Woods, that his name was etched in the ROH history books. His initial 159-day reign was briefly interrupted by Daniel Garcia, but Yuta would reclaim the belt from Garcia 94 days, holding the belt during this second run for 111-days before Katsuyori Shibata claimed it for himself. For 239 days “The Wrestler” reigned as Pure Champion, but Yuta would bring an end to that thrilling ride in November 2023 when he claimed the Pure Title for a third time. Yuta eventually fell to Lee Moriarty at DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024 after 244 days, bringing his combined tenure as ROH Pure Champion to a total of 514 days with 10 defenses. Following his loss to Moriarty at DBD '24 Yuta defeated Anthony Henry during HONOR CLUB #75, but he has not set foot inside an ROH ring in the six months since that night in Texas. That changes this evening when he steps in there with another man who hasn't been in ROH since that Arlington residency: Fuego Del Sol! He hasn't been in the house since HONOR CLUB #81, but tonight he also makes his return to competition, and hopefully a triumphant one against this Death Rider! ONE-ON-ONE... Abadon vs. Rachael Ellering We haven't seen Abadon in ROH since HONOR CLUB #90 when they defeated Viva Van, bouncing back from their ROH Women's World Championship loss to Athena in their Ring of Horror match during HONOR CLUB #88. Tonight they return to the fold for a fight against the double-tough Rachael Ellering who's looking for her first win of 2025! Will it be Abadon's night in their return to Honor Club, or Ellering who picks up the victory? 12-MAN TAG TEAM BOUT... The Frat House (Griff Garrison, Jacked Jameson, & Preston Vance) and Premier Athletes (Ariya Daivari, “Smart” Mark Sterling, & Tony Nese) vs. Top Flight (Dante & Darius Martin), The Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd), and The Von Erichs (Marshall & Ross) We've got ourselves a huge match right here between five different units! The newly united Frat House of Griff Garrison, Jacked Jameson, and Preston Vance will combine forces with Premier Athletes of Ariya Daivari, Tony Nese, and...(checks notes) “Smart” Mark Sterling for a battle with Top Flight, The Outrunners, and two-thirds of the ROH World Six-Man Champions, the returning Von Erichs! Marshall and Ross have been out of action since HONOR CLUB #84 when they and Dustin Rhodes defeated this very Premier Athletes trio in a Proving Ground match, but they are back to carry on the legacy of their family name alongside two of the best tag teams in wrestling today! Which of these massive teams will score victory tonight during HONOR CLUB? ALSO FEATURING: -Gates of Agony in action! -Bille Starkz in singles competition!! -And More!
- Global Wars: Australia Preview
Over the course of the last 23 years, Ring of Honor has presented events from 39 different states across the USA, as well as traveled to Japan, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Tonight, the most influential wrestling promotion of the 21st century adds Brisbane, Australia to the list of amazing locations that have hosted ROH over the years, and with this debut Down Under comes the return of GLOBAL WARS! It's been five and a half years since the last GLOBAL WARS, and though many things have changed, Ring of Honor is still home to some of the greatest professional wrestling on the planet! That will be showcased this evening with this Monday night special presentation featuring three championship matches, as well as the ROH World Champion in action, and more! ROH World Champion Chris Jericho and his Learning Tree will kick off the action with a trios battle against former ROH World Champion Bandido and The Outrunners, and the action only gets more intense from there! Red-hot ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty will defend his title against Australia's own Robbie Eagles, ROH World Tag Team Champions The Sons of Texas face the challenge of MxM Collection, and ROH Women's World Champion Athena puts her title up against the top-shelf challenge of Alex Windsor! The action for this GLOBAL WARS 2025 special kicks off at 7 p.m./6 p.m. CT tonight only on HONOR CLUB! Then join us Thursday night at 7 p.m. ET right back on Honor Club for ROH's weekly presentation featuring more of the world's best wrestlers! TRIOS BATTLE... The Learning Tree (ROH World Champion Chris Jericho, Big Bill, & Bryan Keith) vs. Bandido & The Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd) Bandido first inserted himself into the lives of The Learning Tree at FINAL BATTLE 2024 at the end of last year, coming to the aid of “The Complete” Matt Cardona after his ROH World Championship loss to Chris Jericho inside the Hammerstein Ballroom. Bandido reappeared in AEW shortly thereafter, again in response to Jericho and his branches perpetrating an after-match assault on their foes, this time on The Outrunners Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd: For Bandido the issue with Jericho dates back to their 9/28/22 DYNAMITE clash for the ROH World Title during The Nueve's first run with the championship, but it was reignited by the despicable behavior Jericho has displayed since beating Mark Briscoe in Ladder War back at the 10/23/24 DYNAMITE. Whereas Jericho was a shockingly honorable champion during his first reign, fighting as if he had a point to prove, this time around he's been exactly the kind of champ he was during his AEW World Title reign. He's been a sneak, a cheat, and used the minions around him as a shield as much as possible. Bryan Keith and Big Bill have been there at every turn to protect “The Nueve”, just as they will be at his side tonight in this trios battle. However, instead of protecting Jericho and his title from the outside, tonight “The Redwood” and “Bad Apple” will be fighting at his side against Bandido and The Outrunners! Can “The Most Wanted” Bandido, Truth Magnum, and Turbo Floyd make this first-ever trip to Australia a victorious excursion or will The Learning Tree and its branches prove an invasive species? ROH PURE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH... Lee Moriarty(c) vs. IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Champion Robbie Eagles Claiming the ROH Pure Championship from Wheeler Yuta was the culmination of a dream for Lee Moriarty, a dream that he never thought would be possible. See in August 2006, when Lee was just a few months shy of his 12th birthday, the Pure Championship was unified with the ROH World Title when Bryan Danielson defeated Nigel McGuinness at the appropriately named UNIFIED. That event took place more than nine years before Lee even began his own pro wrestling journey, but the beauty of technology made it possible for #Taigastyle to see what that Pure Title, and the wrestlers who embodied that style, were all about. He watched Nigel, he watched Samoa Joe, he watched Jay Lethal, and he watched what each brought to the table as Pure Champions, and he began to create his own style inspired by how they each took to this specialized form of competition. Then something happened in September 2020; in the midst of a global pandemic, Ring of Honor began a tournament to crown a new Pure Champion and with the possibility that Lee could actually hold that crown, his inspirations once did opened up. So inspired by this was Lee that he even fought in a Pure Rules match on an independent show July of 2021, but it wasn't until HONOR CLUB #10 that he had the chance to fight under the ROH banner in a match contested with Pure Rules. That night he tested himself against Rocky Romero, and though he came up short, Lee wasn't done with chasing the dream. His first chance at achieving it came weeks later in a Pure Championship fight with Katsuyori Shibata on RAMPAGE: CHAMPIONSHIP FRIDAY on 6/2/23. In what was essentially a #1 Contender's bout, Moriarty fell to Yuta during HONOR CLUB #39, and had to watch Yuta parlay that victory into his third ROH Pure Title reign just two days later. That just meant Moriarty had to grind harder to get back to where he wanted to be, part of that was aligning with Shane Taylor Promotions, and part of that was getting back in the ring with Yuta during HONOR CLUB #71 in a Pure Rules Proving Ground bout, just the second-ever for that particular title. Moriarty took Yuta to the ten-minute time limit that night in Allentown, PA, and just a few weeks later at DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024 in Texas, bested Wheeler to finally take the prize he'd watched with fascination years prior. Moriarty made a promise to be a fighting champion, to elevate the standing of the Pure Title, and in the seven months since he's done just that, scoring wins over Angelico and Preston Vance as well as ROH Grand Slam winner Matt Taven, and capped off by a victory over Nigel McGuinness at FINAL BATTLE 2024 inside the historic Hammerstein Ballroom. All that is said to illustrate just how important the Pure Championship is to Lee Moriarty, how integral it was to the development of his career before he even fought in his first ROH match at DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2021, and why bringing it to Australia for the first Pure Title fight outside the United States since August 12, 2006 is such an important milestone for his career. That being said, it would be a huge moment for Australia's own Robbie Eagles to come into GLOBAL WARS 2025 tonight and dethrone Lee Moriarty in his 5th title defense. Though Eagles is originally from New South Wales some 625 miles away from Brisbane, he comes into this carrying the weight of his countrymen on his shoulders just as Buddy Matthews, Harley Cameron, and “Timeless” Toni Storm did at GRAND SLAM: AUSTRALIA this past Saturday. Of that lot, only “The Timeless One” was successful in her championship endeavors, but perhaps Eagles can strap the ROH Pure Championship around his waist along with the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Titles he shares with Kosei Fujita. Will this be the next step in Lee Moriarty's chase to become the greatest Pure Champion of all time, or will Robbie Eagles bring Moriarty's dream to a painful end in Brisbane? ROH World Tag Team Championship Match... The Sons of Texas (Dustin Rhodes & Sammy Guevara)(c) vs. MxM Collection (Mansoor & Mason Madden) MxM Collection have been on the hunt for the ROH World Tag Titles for several weeks now, going so far as to steal the championship belt from Sammy Guevara after he defeated Mansoor during HONOR CLUB #102. To their credit, the last few weeks have been a perfect time for MxM to set their sights on Guevara given that “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes has been focused on Maxwell Jacob Friedman. Now that the match with the former AEW World Champion is behind Dustin, he's ready to return to Australia for the first time since 2017 and show MxM Collection how to really walk the Runway of Honor! It's not with spectacular looks at the camera or their tips, it's through in-ring work and wrestling with the type of undeniable passion that Rhodes still carries in his heart even after 36 years of fighting the ring wars. If Mansoor and Mason Madden hope to claim the ROH World Tag Titles and call themselves the genuine champions of the division, they're going to have to match that kind of fire and figure out how to top what The Sons of Texas bring to the table! Will MxM Collection leave Brisbane as the 70th ROH World Tag Champions or will The Sons of Texas bring the belts back home to the States to continue their pursuit of greatness? ROH Women’s World Championship Match... “The Fallen Goddess” Athena(c) vs. Alex Windsor It has been 800 days since “The Fallen Goddess” Athena dethroned Mercedes Martinez to begin her historic ROH Women's World Championship reign. To give the woman her proper credit, it's not just historic for the ROH Women's World Title, but historic for the whole of Ring of Honor. For twenty years Samoa Joe held the record as the longest reigning title holder in ROH history with his 645-day tenure as ROH World Champion. His run from NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS on 3/22/03 to FINAL BATTLE 2004 on 12/26/04 was something of legend, and featured a record-setting 29 title defenses. Though that number was surpassed shortly thereafter by Nigel McGuinness and Bryan Danielson (each with 38), the duration of his run was never remotely in jeopardy. Then came Athena, and since December 10, 2022 she has been utterly unstoppable. She's turned away 26 challenges for her title from 23 different women, and shut down the hopes of aspiring challengers across 30 Proving Ground and and four Eliminator contests. She's 63-0 in singles ROH-related competition, and her only ROH losses came in tag matches where Billie Starkz lost the match for their team. Athena has defended the title across the United States, in Canada, and now she brings it to Australia for the very first time against a woman who hasn't competed in ROH since HONOR CLUB #68 last May, but who made quite an impression in her lone outing. Alex Windsor, a 16-year veteran trained by the Knight family, has competed against the best throughout her wrestling career, including multiple battles with Toni Storm before All Elite Wrestling even existed, as well as fights with Riho, Miyu Yamashita, Maki Ito, and she was the woman who unified the RevPro Undisputed British Women's Championship with the Southside Wrestling Women's Title to create the two-belt championship that Mercedes Moné now proudly wears. It was a title she held for 769 days, the longest reign in the championship's history, before she was dethroned at the end of 2023. That loss actually led to one of the strongest years in Windsor's career as she fought in England and Denmark, for NJPW at WINDY CITY RIOT 2024 in Chicago, and even in a Dog Collar match to try and regain that RevPro championship. She took on Thunder Rosa in the States, made her AEW debut and brought that rivalry with Toni Storm to RAMPAGE, made her ROH debut, and even traveled to CMLL in October. She's been an extraordinarily busy competitor, even facing Toni Storm on the 2025 Jericho Cruise just a few weeks ago! So suffice to say she's more than prepared to step into the ring with “The Forever Champion” Athena tonight at GLOBAL WARS 2025! Alex Windsor is ready to make an indelible mark on Ring of Honor with our first-ever Australian event, and shatter the unbelievable winning streak that Athena has been on for four-plus years! ALSO FEATURING: -The Don Callis Family's Mark Davis in action! -And More! AEW/ROH GLOBAL WARS 2025 gets underway tonight at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT only on HONOR CLUB with three championship matches for the ROH faithful! Then be right back here on Honor Club Thursday night at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT for ROH's weekly presentation featuring more action from world's best wrestlers!
- ROH on Honor Club Episode 103 Preview
Thursday night is here once more and that means an all-new edition of ROH ON HONOR CLUB exclusively at WatchROH.com! This week we've got an extra-special presentation for the ROH faithful as tonight's matches all went down during the Jericho Cruise: Six On The Beach extravaganza! This is the first time ROH ON HONOR CLUB has been held on that vessel, and with it comes some exciting bouts that may not have happened any other way! We've got AEW International Champion Konosuke Takeshita returning to ROH for the first time in almost two years and facing “The Dynamite Kid” Tommy Billington in an Eliminator Match. Ricochet wrestling his first ROH match since a SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST 2009 pre-show trios battle, Harley Cameron and Billie Starkz squaring off for the first time, The Patriarchy's Nick Wayne returning to ROH for an ROH World TV Title bout against Komander, and Jay Lethal stepping back in his house to face MxM Collection's Mason Madden! We've got collections featuring Kenny Omega, Claudio Castagnoli, Jay Lethal, and more, plus we are celebrating ROH's looming 23rd anniversary with the addition of ROH:YEAR THREE featuring the original Survival of the Fittest contest, Jushin “Thunder” Liger, The Trilogy, the legendary Samoa Joe/Jay Briscoe cage match, and the culmination of Joe's historic World Title reign! ROH WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH... Komander(c) vs. The Patriarchy's Nick Wayne Komander has been extremely busy since winning the ROH World TV Title at FINAL BATTLE 2024! Not only has he successfully defended the title against both QT Marshall and Johnny TV, he beat Claudio Castagnoli in the 2024 Continental Classic, stepped into the ring with both “The Bastard” PAC and AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada, and welcomed both QT and “Big Shotty” Lee Johnson on the Proving Ground. Unfortunately both QT and Lee found ways to last the 10-minute time limit, and while Marshall's bid to claim the World TV Title was rebuked, “Big Shotty” is still owed one from his Proving Ground bout during HONOR CLUB #101. Lee will have to patiently wait to see who he gets that shot against because tonight on HONOR CLUB, Komander is facing The Patriarchy's Nick Wayne in a championship battle! Though the two men have had a number of interactions in the last two years, including a Four-Way on the October 5, 2024 COLLISION and a tag match one year prior to that where they joined to face Aussie Open, they've never gone one-on-one. It's a huge opportunity for young Mr. Wayne as he's 2-1 in ROH competition with that one loss stemming from a Pure Championship battle against Katsuyori Shibata during HONOR CLUB #30. Can Nick Wayne make his father proud and bring a title back to The Patriarchy, or will Komander continuing showing the world why he's one of the most exciting athletes to step into the ROH ring in some time! ELIMINATOR MATCH... AEW International Champion Konosuke Takeshita vs. “The Dynamite Kid” Tommy Billington Coming off a huge NEVER Openweight Championship victory over Oleg Boltin at NJPW's A NEW BEGINNING IN OSAKA 2025 event, Konosuke Takeshita drops by the Jericho Cruise before he heads to Australia to give “The Dynamite Kid” Tommy Billington the biggest opportunity of his AEW/ROH career thus far, and bring the AEW International Championship to Ring of Honor for the first time! While the championship may not be on the line in this battle between “The Alpha” and “The Dynamite Kid”, the opportunity for Tommy Billington to earn a future title opportunity is as this will be contested under Eliminator Rules! If Billington can find a way to beat the International Champion, he will earn himself a future title match, and certainly put a damper on The Alpha's momentum as he prepares for the tag team battle with Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay at GRAND SLAM: AUSTRALIA on Saturday! ONE-ON-ONE... Harley Cameron vs. Billie Starkz Harley Cameron is on the precipice of the biggest night of her wrestling career: a TBS Championship match with “The CEO” Mercedes Moné at GRAND SLAM: AUSTRALIA this Saturday, and that's on the heels of getting her first televised singles victory over Taya Valkyrie on the 2/1/25 COLLISION. Add that into the wild Halftime Harley performance we were treated to on the last edition of COLLISION, and it's been a banner couple weeks for Harley. However it's not enough, and she's coming to back to Ring of Honor tonight to share her wrath with the Jericho Cruise! In this case it means stepping into the ring with Billie Starkz for the very first time and looking to keep the momentum going as she prepares to hop on the plane to Brisbane! For Starkz its a weird time; she had a few weeks of breathing room after her FINAL BATTLE 2024 loss to ROH Women's World Champion Athena because “The Fallen Goddess” was on her World Tour competing in Stardom. However with Athena's return last week, it looks like Billie has fallen right back into the role she's spent the better part of the last 18 months occupying, only now she's also doing the job Lexy Nair had before Athena fired her from M.I.T. Starkz couldn't have summed it up any better than when, at one point during Athena's Proving Ground bout with Carolina Cruz, Billie said “We've been through this already!”, and therein lies the biggest question with Billie Starkz. Has she resigned herself to playing this supporting role in Athena's career after twice failing to beat her for the championship? Is this all Billie thinks her value is now? SINGLES MATCH “The Franchise” Jay Lethal vs. MxM Collection's Mason Madden You wouldn't know it from how things looked after the match, but it was Mansoor who fell to ROH World Tag Champion Sammy Guevara last week during HONOR CLUB. However it was he and Mason Madden who left Sammy Guevara laying and departed Jacksonville with one of the ROH World Tag Title belts in their possession. MxM Collection made it clear weeks ago they had designs on the belts held by Guevara and Dustin Rhodes, but that implied they intended to earn their match not just steal a belt from its rightful owner. As unpredictable as these Jericho Cruises can be, perhaps Sammy Guevara will be on-hand tonight during HONOR CLUB when Mason Madden steps into the ring with former ROH World Tag Champion Jay Lethal, “The Franchise of ROH”! In addition to having held the ROH World Title twice, the World TV Title twice, as well as the ROH Pure Title, Lethal was also one-half of the longest reigning World Tag Team Champions in ROH history with 441 days to his resume! So he's quite familiar with the drive to hold those titles that MxM Collection is currently experiencing, but he's also someone who earned it the hard way (fighting The Briscoes at FINAL BATTLE 2019) and doesn't have much appreciation for someone just absconding with the title after a two-on-one assault. Can Mason Madden and Mansoor use that numbers advantage to leave Lethal the same way they left Sammy Guevara, or will “The Franchise of ROH” show MxM Collection what happens when they come to play in his yard? ONE-ON-ONE... Ricochet vs. Serpentico Serpentico is on a roll here in Ring of Honor, at least by his standards. Two weeks he scored a one-on-one victory over Brandon Cutler, his second over the last four singles matches, and for Serpentico that is a huge milestone. However tonight that run may come to a sharp conclusion as he steps into the ring with Ricochet for the very first time! Despite being an active competitor since October 2003, Ricochet only ever stepped inside an ROH ring on one occasion, and that was actually in a dark match prior to SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST 2009. That makes this fight with Serpentico his first match on an official Ring of Honor event, and that's a huge milestone for the career of a competitor who's traveled all across the world and collected championships! Could we see more of Ricochet in ROH after this, or is he simply taking advantage of the situation to send another message to Swerve Strickland at Serpentico's expense? TAG TEAM ACTION... The Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd) vs. Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson) Last week, in the main event of HONOR CLUB #102, The Outrunners scored a huge tag team victory in the Four-Way bout that included Dark Order, Premier Athletes, and their opponents for this evening, the Grizzled Young Veterans James Drake and Zack Gibson! Failure to win the bout was disappointing enough for GYV, but the fact that James Drake was the man pinned by The Outrunners following Total Recall was just too much for them to take. Tonight they look to even the score for that loss, but it's far more than just that as Truth Magnum, Turbo Floyd, Gibson, and Drake have issues dating back to last year's August 30th edition of RAMPAGE when GYV, in their first match as official members of the AEW locker room, defeated The Outrunners. They were also mutual participants in the Tag Team Casino Gauntlet on DYNAMITE last September, met in a huge 10-Man tag on COLLISION a few weeks later, then met in their second tag team encounter on the 10/5/24 COLLISION. The Outrunners evened the score with GYV that night, scoring their second-ever win on television and certainly the biggest in their career to that point. The issues between the four men have carried over to Ring of Honor, and now even onto the high seas, but who will score victory tonight in their rubber match?

Red Velvet(c) vs. Robyn Renegade It's been five months since Robyn Renegade's last contest within the ROH ring, but she's coming back tonight with a huge opportunity, one she's never been fortunate enough to experience before! After making her bid to be the first ROH Women's World TV Champion during the inaugural tournament last February, Renegade gets a shot at the actual champion tonight during HONOR CLUB. Not only is it her first chance to claim a Ring of Honor championship, it's also the very first time Robyn will step into the ring with defending champion Red Velvet! After a successful defense over Leila Grey last week, five consecutive singles victories, and going 13-1 in her last 14 singles matches, Red Velvet may as well change her name to red hot! Aside from Athena, there likely isn't anyone in ROH on a stronger roll than the ROH Women's World Champion, but will we see it come to a screeching halt tonight when Red steps in the ring with Robyn Renegade? FOUR-WAY TAG... The Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd) vs. Dark Order (Alex Reynolds & Evil Uno) vs. Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson) vs. Premier Athletes (Ariya Daivari & Tony Nese) MxM Collection may be the loudest individuals seeking a World Tag Team Championship opportunity right now, but that doesn't mean they're the only ones on the hunt for the titles around the waists of Sammy Guevara and Dustin Rhodes. The Sons of Texas better have their eyes on this contest as well because four of ROH's top tag teams are locking horns to assert their dominance over the division! The Outrunners are running hot, GYV are hungry to put gold back around their waists after losing the NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Titles back in December, and both Dark Order and Premier Athletes are hoping to make all the hard work they've put in since this new era of honor first began amount to something. Four hungry teams, but only one of them can leave HONOR CLUB with the victory; who will get their hands raised in this Four-Way Tag Team Tussle? ONE-ON-ONE... ROH World Tag Champion Sammy Guevara vs. MxM Collection's Mansoor Since their arrival in Ring of Honor at DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2025, MxM Collection have only lost one tag team bout and that was an NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Title match against Grizzled Young Veterans during HONOR CLUB #94. That makes them 7-1 in the division, with two consecutive victories, and hungry to turn that success into a title victory! Mansoor takes the first step on behalf of his team when he walks the Runway of Honor and squares off with one-half of the ROH World Tag Champions Sammy Guevara! Since joining the ROH roster with HONOR CLUB #75, “The Spanish God” has gone 3-0 in singles competition, 12-0 overall, claimed the World Tag Titles with “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes, and successfully defended them three times over the last 170+ days, including at WRESTLE DYNASTY 2025 inside the Tokyo Dome! However this isn't tag team competition tonight, it's a one-on-one affair, but Mansoor comes with a support system in Mason Madden while Guevara is flying solo tonight! Can MxM Collection use that to their advantage and get closer towards their championship goal, or will Guevara shut down those aspirations with a victory tonight? THE FALLEN GODDESS RETURNS! Tonight during HONOR CLUB, ROH Women's World Champion Athena returns to ROH competition for the first time since her FINAL BATTLE 2024 victory over Billie Starkz. In the weeks since that last appearance, Athena competed inside the Tokyo Dome at WRESTLE DYNASTY 2025, and went 4-0 on Stardom events, including a successful title defense against HATE's Thekla. Tonight “The Fallen Goddess” returns to competition for her 69th ROH bout, her 61st singles contest, and her 30th Proving Ground challenge! To date Athena is 29-0 on the Proving Ground with only Lady Frost exceeding the eight-minute mark during their HONOR CLUB #86 meeting; on a resume full of impressive statistics, that is up there with her 789 days as champion and 26 title defenses, but will this be the night that someone finally snaps the streak? Seemingly unable to escape the toxic grasp of “The Forever Champion,” it also looks like Billie Starkz will be at ringside in Athena's corner for this Proving Ground contest! ALSO FEATURING: -Griff Garrison & Preston Vance in tag team action! -Blake Christian!! -Lee Johnson!!! -And More!!!!
- ROH on Honor Club Episode 101 Preview
Last week ROH ON HONOR CLUB hit the 100th episode milestone highlighted by a hard-hitting Katsuyori Shibata/Shane Taylor battle, an ROH World TV Title bout between Komander and QT Marshall, as well as Taya Valkyrie versus Lady Frost, and much, much more! This week the action continues with a Women's World TV Championship bout between Red Velvet and Leila Grey, ROH World Tag Champion Sammy Guevara versus Aaron Solo, Blake Christian taking on Dark Order's Evil Uno, World TV Champion Komander welcoming Lee Johnson onto the Proving Ground, and so much more on tap! After hitting the century mark last week, ROH ON HONOR CLUB continues to bring the hottest wrestling to Honor Club starting at 7pm ET/6pm CT tonight exclusively at WatchROH.com! A new episode drops every single Thursday night, but that's not all Honor Club has to offer! In addition to that weekly program, it's also the home for 20+ years of Ring of Honor history featuring the best competitors of the last two decades, with television archives dating back to 2011, hundreds of live events beginning with THE ERA OF HONOR BEGINS, and the continually expanding “Best Of...” collection that showcases the amazing athletes who helped build ROH over the years, including Bryan Danielson, The Kings of Wrestling, Kyle O'Reilly, The Kingdom, and in celebration of ROH's impending 23rd anniversary, we are adding ROH: YEAR ONE to the collection! ROH WOMEN'S WORLD TV TITLE MATCH... Red Velvet(c) vs. Leila Grey PROVING GROUND MATCH... ROH World Champion Komander vs. Lee Johnson Last week during HONOR CLUB #100, Komander put his World Television Championship on the line against QT Marshall. It was a title bout that Marshall earned via time limit draw in his Proving Ground match, but he was unable to parlay that opportunity into championship success. However the fact that he even got to the title bout demonstrated that Komander could be taken to the 10-minute time limit draw. The majority of the Proving Ground bouts we've witnessed since HONOR CLUB #1 have circled around Athena and the Women's World Title, but through 29 Proving Ground bouts, not one person has earned a shot at “The Forever Champion” in this fashion. Lee Moriarty earned a Pure Title fight with Wheeler Yuta via Proving Ground that led to his title victory and current championship reign. The Infantry earned one in the tag team division opposite Undisputed Kingdom but were unable to roll that into a title win. That's where it ends, at least in the time frame since 3/2/23 when ROH ON HONOR CLUB was born, 67 Proving Ground matches to date, only three competitors have accomplished what needed to be done in order to earn a title fight, and all three have come via time limit draw. Lee Johnson has participated in two of those matches over the last two years, both in attempts to earn a World Title Match, the first against Claudio Castagnoli and the second opposite Eddie Kingston. He was unable to earn the title shot at those times, but it has been 16 months since the last time Lee tried, so long before he had EJ Nduka at his side as support. Will that be the difference maker as “Big Shotty” attempts to earn another crack at the title he's been chasing since FINAL BATTLE 2023? Will Komander be the first competitor in the new era of honor to fail in two Proving Ground matches, or did he learn from the QT Marshall bout what he needs to adjust? ONE-ON-ONE... Dark Order's Evil Uno vs. Blake Christian Even though FINAL BATTLE 2024 wasn't a victorious night for Blake Christian, it was still a game-changing experience. He may have lost in the World TV Title Survival of the Fittest match, but he was one of the last two standing alongside Komander, and the vitriol he earned from the fans when he hit Mark Davis low was quite the sound to hear. Since that night in NYC, Blake has won three consecutive matches and aims to continue that roll until he gets right back into position to fight Komander for the title he almost won just a month ago. If Blake keeps on the roll he's currently on, that will come his way sooner than later, but he's got a roadblock named Evil Uno standing in his way tonight during HONOR CLUB! While Uno tends towards multi-man competition alongside his Dark Order brothers, he's an accomplished solo competitor over the course of his career, and is currently 3-3 with one-on-one competition here in ROH with his last a victory during HONOR CLUB #79. Can Uno put a stop to the roll Blake Christian has been on since FINAL BATTLE '24, or will “Vanilla Baby” continue to climb the ranks here in Ring of Honor? SINGLES MATCH... Brandon Cutler vs. Serpentico Speaking of climbing the ranks, with Brandon Cutler and Serpentico we have two individuals who are looking to make an impact on Ring of Honor as the company enters its 23rd year, but who have each struggled to find their footing. It has been hard for each man to find consistency in their respective Ring of Honor experiences but tonight during HONOR CLUB each aims to try! Serpentico looks to rebound off two consecutive singles losses while Cutler, returning to ROH for the first time since HONOR CLUB #87 last October, hopes for his first singles victory in ROH competition! It's been more than two years since the last time these two competitors went one-on-one, and that night on DARK: ELEAVTION #84 it was Cutler who scored the victory. Will we see the same result in this rematch, or will it be Serpentico who notches a win on his ROH resume? ONE-ON-ONE... ROH World Tag Champion Sammy Guevara vs. Aaron Solo Speaking of rematches, it's been over four years since the last time Sammy Guevara and Aaron Solo clashed inside the squared circle! AEW DARK #68 hosted Guevara's victory over Solo, one of Aaron's earliest matches in AEW as a matter of fact, just his seventh singles match since debuting with AEW a few months prior. Both man have undergone quite a lot since that December 2020 meeting, especially Guevara whose path has included The Inner Circle, The Jericho Appreciation Society, multiple TNT Championship reigns, starting a family with Tay Melo, winning the ROH World Tag Team Titles with Dustin Rhodes, and traveling to Japan for WRESTLE DYNASTY 2025 to defend them! However tonight Sammy's a man alone, fighting in just his third singles match for Ring of Honor, and against a man such as Aaron Solo who first fought Sammy back in 2017. Will this be Solo's night to, perhaps, earn a future Tag Team Championship match by beating Guevara or instead a chance for Sammy to show he's still as good flying solo as he's ever been? ALSO FEATURING: -Queen Aminata in action! -And more!
- ROH on Honor Club Episode 100 Preview
It's Thursday night and that means ROH ON HONOR CLUB is back with it's landmark 100th episode! We've seen some classic moments across the previous 99 weeks of action, and that continues tonight as the high-flying Komander puts his World TV Championship on the line against QT Marshall! In addition, we will see former ROH Pure Champion Katsuyori Shibata in action against former World TV Champion Shane Taylor, as well as Taya Valkyrie return to ROH competition to take on Lady Frost, Gates of Agony in action ahead of their COLLISION bout with Brody King and Buddy Matthews, The Outrunners, The Beast Mortos, and more! The 100th episode of ROH ON HONOR CLUB gets underway at 7pm ET/6pm CT tonight exclusively at WatchROH.com! Not only is Honor Club the home for ROH's weekly wrestling presentation, but it's the destination for 20+ years of ROH history featuring the greatest professional wrestlers of the 21st Century! We have television archives dating back to 2011, hundreds of live events starting with 2002's THE ERA OF HONOR BEGINS, and an ever-growing “Best Of...” section highlighting the athletes who've competed in Ring of Honor over the years including Matt Taven, The Briscoes, Samoa Joe, and this week's J AY LETHAL: LETHAL INJECTION collection highlighting the growth of “The Franchise of ROH” from his Special K beginnings to his return to honor in 2011! ROH WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH... Komander(c) vs. QT Marshall Three weeks ago QT Marshall stepped into the ring with ROH World Television Champion Komander for the very first time, and with Proving Ground rules in effect, all Marshall had to do was survive 10 minutes with the champion to earn his first-ever TV Title match. It seemed that Komander had the match won when he hit his Cielito Lindo maneuver on QT, but the wily competitor rolled to the floor in the few seconds it took the champion to recover from the impact and the time expired before Komander could get QT back in the ring. It was the first time in nearly six years that the World TV Champion fell short on the Proving Ground, so while QT Marshall accomplished step one by earning this championship match, can he take the next one and actually defeat the champion tonight on the 100th edition of ROH ON HONOR CLUB? ONE-ON-ONE... “The Wrestler” Katsuyori Shibata vs. Shane Taylor It's been nine months since the last time Katsuyori Shibata and Shane Taylor stood across from one another inside the squared circle, but all three of those matches in April 2024 were either in tag or trios situations. Taylor, Lee Moriarty, and Anthony Ogogo defeated Shibata, HOOK, and Chris Jericho on the April 10th DYNAMITE, Shiabata and Orange Cassidy evened that up with Taylor and Lee at the DYNASTY 2024: ZERO HOUR, and in their final bout Shibata teamed up with Daniel Garcia to best the STP pair of Taylor and Moriarty. Tonight however is a different story, this time it's one-on-one between “The Wrestler” and Shane T as STP aims to takeover Ring of Honor in 2025! The former ROH World TV Champion comes into this with victories in six of his last seven matches, but Shibata has been a dominant force in ROH competition since his return at SUPERCARD OF HONOR 2023. Not only is he the 4th longest reigning Pure Champion at 239 days, but he's also 20-2 in ROH competition, with 16 singles victories, and currently holding a 10-match win streak SINGLES MATCH... The Vendetta's Taya Valkyrie vs. Lady Frost It's been almost two years since the last time Taya Valkyrie and Lady Frost went one-on-one inside the squared circle. They've been on opposite sides of several trios and multi-woman matches here in Ring of Honor, but no singles encounters since that May 2023 DYNAMITE clash, and a whole lot has changed with Taya since that night in Las Vegas. Now aligned with “The Virtuosa” Deonna Purrazzo as The Vendetta, Taya has her sights set on taking out every woman who stands across from her in the ring, and Lady Frost is next on her hit list! Can Frost survive the fight with Taya and score her first victory since HONOR CLUB #81, or will this be a repeat of their Spring 2023 Sin City encounter? ALSO FEATURING: -The Beast Mortos in action! -Gates of Agony in tag team competition!! -The Outrunners!!! -Leila Grey competes! -And more!
