- ROH: Prelude to Spring BreakThru
It's an exciting week of wrestling action for All Elite Wrestling and Ring of Honor! With a tremendous edition of DYNAMITE taking place last night that featured three 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament bouts, the debut of “The Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander, a hard-fought AEW World Tag Title Match, new AEW World Trios Champions in The Opps , and a stacked episode of COLLISION going down tonight on TNT, ROH is excited to bring to you a special YouTube presentation this afternoon at 12 p.m. ET in addition to Friday afternoon's ROH ON HONOR CLUB episode! This special presentation will feature CMLL's La Catalina facing “La Wera Loca” Taya Valkyrie with the winner earning a shot at ROH Women's World TV Champion Red Velvet, The Conglomeration's Tomohiro Ishii and Rocky Romero facing Top Flight, Shane Taylor in action, and The Patriarchy's Nick Wayne welcoming RevPro's Michael Oku to ROH as Wayne prepares for his fight with ROH World TV Champion Komander tonight on COLLISION! ONE-ON-ONE... The Patriarchy's Nick Wayne vs. Michael Oku “The Patriarch” Christian Cage laid it out on the table for his “son” Nick Wayne last night on DYNAMITE: SPRING BREAK THRU, and provided a huge opportunity for “The Prodigy” later tonight on COLLISION: SPRING BREAK THRU. Tonight he has the opportunity to impress his surrogate father and show ROH World TV Champion Komander what to expect in their championship rematch just a matter of hours after this contest concludes. Unfortunately for young Mister Wayne it's not going to be a walk in the park when he steps into the ring with the debuting Michael Oku! Coming to ROH by way of the United Kingdom's RevPro promotion, the reigning 2-Time Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion brings his eight years of experience to Ring of Honor for the very first time. Though he may be new to ROH, this is a man who defeated Will Ospreay in a 47-minute championship match 14 months ago, and a month before that beat Speedball Mike Bailey and Johnny TV on back-to-back nights. Great-O-Khan, Hechicero, GYV's Zack Gibson, Gabe Kidd, and Ultimo Guerrero, among many others, fell to Oku over the course of his RevPro championship reigns, so suffice to that Nick Wayne has got a fight on his hands! Will Nick pick up this much needed win just hours before he challenges Komander for the ROH World TV Championship or will Michael Oku show “The Prodigy” why he's achieved the great successes he has in his career thus far? SINGLES MATCH... La Catalina vs. Taya Valkyrie ***WINNER EARNS WOMEN'S WORLD TV TITLE MATCH*** One month ago, at CMLL's March 16th DOMINGO FAMILIAR event, Taya Valkyrie and Lady Frost united to defeat La Catalina and Persephone in tag team action. Tonight during this YouTube special, La Catalina returns to Ring of Honor to even the score with “La Wera Loca” in their very first singles match! La Catalina is no stranger to ROH competition. Prior to that CMLL tag, La Catalina defeated Lady Frost in singles competition during HONOR CLUB 105 before falling to ROH Women's World Champion Athena in their championship bout during HONOR CLUB 106. After that aforementioned tag, La Catalina returned at HONOR CLUB 108 to defeat Viva Van and set her eyes on the ROH Women's World TV Championship around the waist of Red Velvet! However Taya Valkyrie has her own plans for Red and that Women's TV Title which is why today during HONOR CLUB the two competitors will go one-on-one with a future shot at the championship at stake! Will Taya experience the same success that she did in the CMLL Tag team battle, or will this be the night La Catalina earns a shot at ROH immortality? TAG TEAM BOUT... The Conglomeration (Rocky Romero & Tomohiro Ishii) vs. Top Flight (Dante & Darius Martin) The various members of The Conglomeration may be embroiled in their own endeavors, but their bond remains and the individuals involved still find their way together when the time comes! Just such a moment is taking place this afternoon on YouTube when Rocky Romero and Tomohiro Ishii conglomerate for the first time since a trios bout alongside Mark Briscoe on the November 22, 2024 RAMPAGE and go it as a tag team for the first time since NJPW's SHOWDOWN IN LOS ANGELES on 11/11/19. Though it's been awhile since they've hooked up, Rocky and “The Stone Pitbull” have been teaming up for 14 years in one form or another but that doesn't mean it's easy sailing when they're facing the high-flying offense of Top Flight! Dante and Darius Martin are coming into this fight with a 6-2 record in ROH tag team competitions, and to be fair there's a huge asterisk next to one of those losses as it was the night Dante suffered a near-career ending injury at SUPERCARD OF HONOR 2023. Since Dante's return to action, the Martin brothers have won five straight ROH tag team battles and though they've been engaged in a rather violent rivalry with CRU (Action Andretti & Lio Rush) as of late, they're still focused on chasing down tag team championship success in both ROH and AEW! A victory over two well-seasoned competitors like Ishii and Rocky would only help bolster their desire to challenge for the ROH World Tag Titles, but that experience advantage the Conglomeration duo has may very well be an insurmountable task for Top Flight! ALSO FEATURING: -Shane Taylor in action! -And More!!

A new day has dawned in Ring of Honor and at its helm is “The Most Wanted” Bandido! A new day has dawned in Ring of Honor and at its helm is “The Most Wanted” Bandido! This past Sunday night at DYNASTY 2025, in the city of Philadelphia where Ring of Honor was born, Bandido defeated “The Learning Tree” Chris Jericho to claim the ROH World Championship for the second time! That bring us to tonight for the latest edition of ROH ON HONOR CLUB dropping exclusively on Honor Club and beginning at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT! Tonight we will see the brand-new World Champion Bandido face 2-Time World Champion Jay Lethal in their very first singles match, and on the Proving Ground no less! Plus, The Conglomeration's Tomohiro Ishii faces Frat House's Preston Vance, MxM Collection is in Trios action with Johnny TV, Death Riders' Marina Shafir returns to ROH competition, and World Six-Man Champions Dustin Rhodes and The Von Erichs will also be in trios action! It's only on Honor Club, but the weekly Thursday night program isn't all it has to offer! Honor Club is the only home for ROH's 23-year history and it showcases the best from the men and women who've shaped the face of professional wrestling for the last two decades! We have a live event archive dating back to 2002's THE ERA OF HONOR BEGINS, as well as television archives beginning with June 2011, plus an ever-expanding “Best Of...” collection that includes Will Ospreay, Kenny Omega, the Women of Honor, The Kings of Wrestling, and in honor of their return to AEW at DYNASTY 2025, we've added SUPERKICK PARTY VOL. 1: THE BEST OF THE YOUNG BUCKS! This set showcases Matt and Nick Jackson from their 2009 debut with ROH through 2014, and features bouts with The Briscoes, Kings of Wrestling, Dark City Fight Club, Forever Hooligans, All Night Express, and more! PROVING GROUND... ROH World Champion Bandido vs. “The Franchise of ROH” Jay Lethal As the phrase goes, out of the frying pan into the fire! Just days after defeating “The Learning Tree” Chris Jericho to become a 2-Time ROH World Champion, “The Most Wanted” Bandido is stepping onto the Proving Ground to face “The Franchise of ROH” Jay Lethal! Though the two men are quite familiar with one another from previous matches in ROH (including a World Tag Title Proving Ground, match during Lethal's title reign) as well as in Mexico, they've surprisingly never faced each other one-on-one. Well that changes in the main event of tonight's edition of ROH ON HONOR CLUB! The last time Bandido and Lethal shared the ring in ROH was four years ago, almost to the day, when ROH WRESTLING 499 aired on April 9, 2021. That evening Jay and his partner were victorious in tag team action over Bandido and his, just as they were a few months prior in the aforementioned World Tag Title Proving Ground match. In fact across the five times they've previously faced each other in ROH, it was Lethal side of the bout that proved victorious in three instances. However, extrapolate that across their career bouts with one another, and we see a 3-3-1 record with that 1 stemming from a Five-Way battle in Mexico neither Lethal nor Bandido won. Delving a little further into the fight mathematics of the bout, Lethal has been in 19 previous Proving Ground matches and was the reigning champion in 17 of those. In the two where he was the prospective challenger, Lethal split the difference at 1-1. However it should be noted that in the one where he lost (ROH WAR), Jay was just one of three other potential challengers to the World TV Title then held by Matt Taven. In his only one-on-one Proving Ground challenge at ROAD TO GREATNESS: NIGHT 2, he defeated Taven to earn a championship bout. In addition, Lethal was in one of the first-ever singles Proving Ground matches when he, as reigning World TV Champion, defeated Mark Briscoe at GATEWAY TO HONOR 2011. Conversely, ROH World Champion Bandido has only fought in one Proving Ground match before, the previously mentioned World Tag Title contest at GATEWAY TO HONOR 2020, and his team fell in its attempt to earn a title fight. One final statistical note about the World Title and Proving Ground bouts: in 21 previous such contests no one has ever defeated the World Champion to earn a title bout, and only one man ever went the time limit to earn a championship fight. Coincidentally it was Jay Lethal who was the reigning World Champion at that time... So can “The Franchise” earn his way to his first ROH World Title fight since the FULL GEAR 2023 bout with Eddie Kingston, or will Bandido survive his first experience on the Proving Ground as ROH World Champion? ONE-ON-ONE... The Conglomeration's Tomohiro Ishii vs. Frat House's Preston Vance The Frat House members seem far more interested in partying than they do winning their bouts, which is unfortunate considering they are a supremely talented collection of athletes who've shown flashes of their potential over the course of their assorted career in AEW and ROH. Perhaps the top of the list when it comes to that conversation is Preston Vance. Whether it was as a member of The Dark Order or standing alongside La Faccion Ingobernables, Vance has gone one-on-one with Jon Moxley, challenged Orange Cassidy for the International Title, competed against Lee Moriarty for the Pure Title, and yet every bit of that potential seems wasted as he, in his own words, said “win or lose, we booze”. On the other hand, you've got “The Stone Pitbull” Tomohiro Ishii who is purely focused on the fight in front of him and the potential to add championships to his trophy case. In fact tomorrow night in Chicago, at NJPW's WINDY CITY RIOT 2025, he could add the NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship to that as he challenges Gabe Kidd in a 30-Minute Iron Man Match. So as much as tonight's match is about beating Preston Vance, it's also about getting prepared for the fight with Kidd in 24 hours. If Vance hopes to defeat “The Stone Pitbull” he's either going to have to set all the distractions of The Frat House aside, or use his frat bros as leverage against the 6-Time NEVER Openweight Champion! ALSO FEATURING: -MxM Collection & Johnny TV in Trios action! -Death Riders' Marina Shafir competes! -ROH World Six-Man Champions Dustin Rhodes & The Von Erichs in action! -And More!!!
