The clock is ticking down towards DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024 ( www.rohtix.com ) on July 26th and we now know that ROH Women's World Champion Athena will defend her title against Queen Aminata while ROH Women's World TV Champion Billie Starkz puts hers on the line against Red Velvet. In addition, we recently witnessed Lee Moriarty earn a ROH Pure Championship match on the Proving Ground with Wheeler Yuta, and we know there are plenty of teams gunning for the ROH World Tag Championship held by The Undisputed Kingdom!  The face of DBD '24 will continue to take shape tonight during ROH ON HONOR CLUB as Billie Starkz welcomes another competitor onto the Proving Ground as Lee Johnson and The Infantry go into Trios combat with The Dark Order, Skye Blue fights in ROH action, as does Diamante, and we've got a Three Way fight between Marina Shafir, Robyn Renegade, and Taya Valkyrie! Plus newly crowned ROH World TV Champion Atlantis Jr. faces Serpentico on the Proving Ground, and The Righteous go into Trios combat with Lance Archer at their side! The bouts begin at 7pm ET/6pm CT exclusively on Honor Club, your home for  ROH programming, the weekly program as well as pay-per-view events like the upcoming DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024, plus over twenty years of wrestling history featuring fighters like Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, Jay Lethal, Sara Del Rey, Serena Deeb, The Briscoes, The Kingdom, Samoa Joe, and more! TRIOS ACTION... Lee Johnson & The Infantry (Capt. Shawn Dean & Carlie Bravo) vs.  The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds, John Silver, & Evil Uno) Last week we saw The Dark Order compete against members of The Bang Bang Gang in trios competition, albeit not the triumvirate that hold the Undisputed World Trios Championship, but rather The Gunns and Juice Robinson, and though they gave it their best effort, The Dark Order was stifled in their attempt at victory. It was a continuation of the roller coast year that they've had in 2024, ups and downs with consistency slipping through their fingers, but that doesn't mean they'll just roll over and let the losses take their toll. Instead they are right back in the mix tonight on Honor Club when The Dark Order takes on the combination of Lee Johnson and The Infantry! This is just their second outing as a trio, the first taking place way back on HONOR CLUB #48, but they demonstrated a lot of promise in that victory over The Iron Savages, and aim to pick up where they left off in this Dark Order battle! Can Reynolds, Uno, and Silver get it on track and become contenders for the Trios Championship or will they be frustrated once again as they were in their fight with The BBG? PROVING GROUND MATCH... ROH World Television Champion Atlantis Jr. vs. Serpentico On June 28th, at CMLL's SUPER VIERNES event, Atlantis Jr. defeated “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher to become the new ROH World Television Champion. It was a simultaneous first, Atlantis Jr.'s first match involving Ring of Honor and Kyle Fletcher's first match for CMLL, and it proved a historic night for both of them! Now, tonight during ROH ON HONOR CLUB, Atlantis Jr. marks another historic moment in his career as he wrestles on ROH programming for the very first time when he invites Serpentico onto the Proving Ground! This marks Serpentico's third Proving Ground match, his first with a potential TV Title match at stake, can he succeed here where he failed against Claudio Castagnoli and Eddie Kingston with ROH World Title fights on the line? PROVING GROUND MATCH... ROH Women's World TV Champion Billie Starkz vs. Mackenzie Morgan Billie Starkz and “The Fallen Goddess” Athena both learned last week that at DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024 ( www.rohtix.com ) they will be defending their ROH Women's World TV Title and ROH Women's World Championship against Red Velvet and Queen Aminata respectively. Athena can claim “not medically cleared” all she wants, but clearly the ROH Board of Directors and ROH President Tony Khan think otherwise and have slotted her for a title defense in Arlington, TX! But before we get there, Billie Starkz still has to deal with potential challenges to her crown in the form of Proving Ground competition, and this week that means facing Southaven's own Mackenzie Morgan! Morgan, creeping on her two year anniversary as a professional, has racked up quite a bit of experience in her time competing, even holding the Women's Title for CWFM (Championship Wrestling From Memphis) for 310+ days and counting, but this is a huge leap up in competition for Morgan. That being said, it's also a huge opportunity to make an impression and earn a title fight. Last ten minutes, or actually beat the champion; thus far no one has beaten Billie Starkz on the Proving Ground, and no one has lasted longer than five minutes. With Starkz focused on Red Velvet and DBD '24, can Mackenzie Morgan be the first? ALSO FEATURING: -Skye Blue in action! -Diamante steps into the ring!! -And more!!!

  • ROH on HonorClub Episode 70

DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024 is twenty-two days away and the champions of Ring of Honor (most of them at least) are looking to see who will step up to challenge them in Arlington, TX! Last week then-ROH World TV Champion Kyle Fletcher tried to be the one heading into that tentpole event as both TV Champion and ROH World Champion, but Mark Briscoe turned away his challenge last Thursday during ROH ON HONOR CLUB, and then Atlantis Jr. defeated him for the ROH World TV Title in CMLL on Friday!   In the realm of the two women's championship in ROH, we witnessed Women's World TV Champion Billie Starkz turn away another Proving Ground challenge and heard Women's World Champion Athena claim she would now be out eight months thanks to Red Velvet and Queen Aminata, but we will hear more from them tonight during the show. The ROH World Tag Team Champions are on the lookout for new challenges, so they'll be in Proving Ground action against Komander and Metalik, while ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta returns to ROH competition for the first time since FINAL BATTLE 2023 to meet Lee Moriarty on the Proving Grounds! It all begins at 7pm ET/6pm CT exclusively on Honor Club ( www.watchroh.com ), your home for all ROH programming, both the weekly program and pay-per-view events like the upcoming DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024, as well as more then twenty years of the best pound-for-pound wrestling on the planet featuring men like Bryan Danielson, Samoa Joe, The Briscoes, Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly,  The Kings of Wrestling, and more! THE M.I.T HAS WORDS TO SHARE... ROH Women's World Champion Athena claimed she was injured so it would be several months before she'd return to action, now she claims that the actions of Red Velvet and Queen Aminata two weeks ago caused further damage and it will be up to eight months before she's able to compete. Regardless of if there is any truth in any of her claims, Athena refuses to relinquish the ROH Women's World Title she's now held for 573 days while her compatriot Billie Starkz keeps knocking down potential challengers on the Proving Ground. With DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024 right around the corner, and both Red Velvet and Queen Aminata gunning for those titles, we will hear from the M.I.T contingent tonight on HONOR CLUB! PROVING GROUND... ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta vs. Lee Moriarty It has been six months since the last time ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta defended his title, seven months since he last appeared on ROH programming at FINAL BATTLE 2023, but that is all no fault of his own. Injury put him on the shelf following his Continental Crown bout with Eddie Kingston at AEW's RAMPAGE: HOMECOMING 2024 event, and it has been just one month since Yuta returned to action in All Elite Wrestling. He has had four matches in that time; a tag, a trios bout, and two eight-man tags, so that makes this Proving Ground match tonight Yuta's first singles since 1/12/24 and his first Pure Rules bout since the 1/5/24 defense against Komander.  It seems appropriate that it is Lee Moriarty who Yuta meets in this situation, theirs is a rivalry dating back five years, and one of Yuta's first matches as a BCC member actually include Moriarty in the opposing trio. The two men even fought in a Pure Rules match during ROH ON HONOR CLUB #39 back in November of last year, a bout won by Yuta that set him up for winning his third Pure Title just two days later on RAMPAGE when he beat Shibata. That's another tie that binds these two actually, the only Pure Championship challenge Moriarty has experienced was against Shibata on the 6/2/23 edition of RAMPAGE, a loss that has haunted Lee ever since as he feels this is a title custom made for his particular skill set. Well tonight during ROH ON HONOR CLUB, Moriarty will have a chance to earn his another shot at the title when he faces Yuta in a Proving Ground match contested under Pure Rules! This is just the second time a Pure Championship opportunity has been made possible via Proving Ground, the first taking place during HONOR CLUB #42 last December, also featuring Yuta as the champion putting it on the line. Will Lee Moriarty succeed where Jason Geiger failed? All he need do is last the ten minute limit with  Yuta to get his shot, but an actual fall on the champ would be so much sweeter!  PROVING GROUND... ROH World Tag Team Champions Matt Taven & Mike Bennett vs. Komander & Metalik The Undisputed Kingdom of Matt Taven and Mike Bennett have reigned as ROH World Tag Team Champions since December 27th, and in that time have successfully defended their titles on three occasions. Now some may look at three defenses in 190 days as avoiding challenges, but it doesn't take into consideration the nine Proving Ground matches in which they've faced potential challengers, or the eight times they've prevented teams from earning a future title opportunity. The Infantry were the only team Taven and Bennett faced that were capable of taking them to the time limit draw, but Carlie Bravo and Capt. Shawn Dean were unsuccessful in claiming the belts in their title fight at SUPERCARD OF HONOR 2024.  So now The UK continues to search for another team capable of giving them a challenge, of conquering the Proving Ground, and earning a ROH World Tag Team Championship bout. In that quest to find challengers as DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024 draws near, Taven and Bennett welcome one man familiar to Proving Ground competition and another new to the opportunity. Komander, alongside Bryan Keith, faced Taven and Bennett in the first Proving Ground match of their third championship reign and fell just ninety seconds shy of lasting the ten minute time limit. Metalik, on the other hand, has never been in the ring with Bennett or Taven in any capacity despite being part of this new era of honor since FINAL BATTLE 2022, and his prior Proving Ground experience was in World Six-Man mode against The Mogul Embassy. Clearly the UK have the experience advantage, this is just the second time Metalik and Komander have been a tag team, but their unpredictable offense could be the ticket to being the second team to overcome Taven and Bennett on the Proving Ground!

  • ROH on HonorClub Episode 70 Preview

Thursday evening means Ring of Honor is back in action exclusively on Honor Club, and the action gets underway at 7pm ET/6pm CT featuring the ROH World Championship on the line between Mark Briscoe and ROH World TV Champion Kyle Fletcher, ROH Women's World TV Champion Billie Starkz in Proving Ground action, as well as “The Problem” Marina Shafir back in the ring, The Righteous and Lance Archer in Trios competition, and kicking off with The Dark Order's Alex Reynolds facing “Big Shotty” Lee Johnson! ROH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH... Mark Briscoe(c) vs. ROH World TV Champion Kyle Fletcher In recent weeks ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe and ROH World TV Champion Kyle Fletcher have had their run-ins on AEW television. In fact, it was just two weeks ago that Fletcher pinned Mark in a Trios bout, a situation that often results in the champion putting their title on the line against the individual who pinned them. Yet that's not all Kyle Fletcher has on his resume to justify a championship match, it also goes even deeper than his status as ROH World TV Champion, though he's been an exemplary one in both title fights and Proving Ground bouts. Fletcher's worthiness as a World Championship challenger is also bolstered by the fact he's unbeaten in singles competition in Ring of Honor, a winning streak dating back to May 2022 and ROH ON HONOR CLUB #11 where he bested former ROH World TV Champion Tony Deppen, and currently standing at eighteen consecutive victories including the six-way Survival of the Fittest elimination bout where he own the World TV Title, and last week's 2/3 Falls championship victory over Lee Johnson. “The Protostar” has demonstrated his in-ring prowess time after time here in ROH, but now he's faced with the biggest challenge of his tenure in this ROH World Championship fight with Mark Briscoe! Mark's ROH accolades speak for themselves, thirteen times over a World Tag Champion with brother Jay, former World Six-Man champion, a man who has been part of the company since day one, but only captured his first singles title at SUPERCARD OF HONOR 2024 when he bested Eddie Kingston. After taking some time for his family and the latest addition to the Briscoe lineage, Mark got embroiled in House of Black business along with Adam Copeland and Eddie Kingston, got wrangled into Don Callis Family affairs as well, and even earned his way into Sunday night's TNT Championship Ladder Match at FORBIDDEN DOOR 2024, but through it all he's never taken his mind off ROH business, even engaging in a war of words with Shane Taylor over social media. But tonight's ROH World Championship battle is no war of words, it's a battle for the heart and soul of ROH, and the risk of its twenty-plus year history now being held under the umbrella of the Don Callis Family. Mark isn't about to let that happen without giving the biggest fight of his life, and he's not about to let this title he's worked so hard to earn slip away on his first defense. That being said, Kyle Fletcher is going to throw everything he's got at Chicken in order to join the ranks of ROH Triple Crown winners, as well as become just the second man (after Jay Lethal) to simultaneously hold the ROH World and TV Championships. Will we wake up Friday morning to find a new day has dawned under the shadow of Kyle Fletcher or will Mark Briscoe keep the ROH World Championship in Sandy Fork as he then moves towards adding the TNT Championship to his trophy case? PROVING GROUND... ROH Women's World TV Champion Billie Starkz vs. Angelica Risk Making her fourth appearance inside a ROH ring, Angelica Risk steps onto the Proving Ground for the second time in her set of matches. Coincidentally her very first match for ROH was also that first PG match, and it was against ROH Women's World Champion Athena! Now Risk did her level best to earn that title shot against “The Fallen Goddess”, actually surviving five minutes of the ten minute time limit, which is better than many of the Proving Ground challengers accomplished against Athena. That was May 4th of 2023, ROH ON HONOR CLUB #10 to be exact, and though Risk would step into the ring with Marina Shafir and Leyla Hirsch, she wouldn't score a victory in her trio of 2023 matches for ROH. Well it's been nearly a year since her ROH ON HONOR CLUB #27 appearance, and Angelica Risk has amassed plenty of experience in that time! Will it be enough to overcome Billie Starkz, or at least last the time limit to earn a title shot? And given how last week went with Queen Aminata and Red Velvet, one can't help but wonder if Starkz will have her mind focused on this fight or be more concerned with the whereabouts of the women who have their sights set on the M.I.T! ONE-ON-ONE... “Big Shotty” Lee Johnson vs. The Dark Order's Alex Reynolds A week ago “Big Shotty” Lee Johnson had the opportunity of a lifetime when he challenged Kyle Fletcher for the ROH World Television Championship in a 2/3 Falls match. Though the bout did not go Johnson's way, he managed to score a fall on the defending champion roughly fifteen minutes into the bout, proving he was capable of beating “The Protostar”. Unfortunately Lee would fall to Fletcher five minutes later, leaving the challenger rather unsatisfied, but with a taste of what it would feel like to defeat Kyle to claim the World TV Title as his own. Now he wants more, after facing Kyle in that bout and their previous SUPERCARD OF HONOR 2024 fight, Lee Johnson wants another shot at becoming a champion in Ring of Honor, but that means earning his way back into contention with victories. “Big Shotty” hopes to begin another road to the title tonight on Honor Club when he faces The Dark Order's Alex Reynolds in singles competition! Singles bouts are a rare thing for Reynolds since joining The Dark Order, more often competing in tags, trios, and other multi-man bouts over the past several years, but that doesn't mean Alex isn't a threat in the singles games just as he is those formats. This is quite the exciting clash set for tonight on Honor Club that could make a real impact on future contention for the World Television Championship! ALSO FEATURING: -Taya Valkyrie vs. Trish Adora! -“The Problem” Marina Shafir in action! -Lance Archer & The Righteous in Trios competition! DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024 is a month away and everyone in the ROH locker room wants to be a part of the extravaganza in Arlington, TX! Will we have a new ROH World Champion heading into the twenty-first year of DBD? Who will earn contendership for the other champions in Ring of Honor? There are a whole lot of questions to be answered as July 26th draws near and those answers can be found every Thursday night only on Honor Club!

Going down in Arlington, TX at the Esports Stadium, July 26th will be a night to remember for sure, but that's six weeks away and challengers are still trying to earn their shots! That continues this week when ROH World Tag Team Champions Matt Taven and Mike Bennett face The Wolf Zaddies, Bad Dude Tito and Che Cabrera, in a Proving Ground Match! Plus ROH Women's World TV Champion Billie Starkz will be in action, a huge Four Corner Survival Trios match is going down, a Women's Trios battle, Shane Taylor Promotions in tag team action, and more! It's get underway exclusively on Honor Club starting tonight at 7pm ET/6pm CT, but that's only the beginning of what Honor Club offers the ROH faithful! On top of the weekly ROH show every Thursday, WatchROH.com is also the only place to catch Ring of Honor's pay-per-view events like the upcoming DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024, as well as the annual FINAL BATTLE and SUPERCARD OF HONOR ext! In addition, fans can watch events from more than twenty-years of ROH history, including 550+ episodes of ROH WRESTLING TV, live events from across the world, compilations of your favorite ROH talents of the past, interviews, and so much more! PROVING GROUND MATCH... ROH World Tag Team Champions Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) vs. The Wolf Zaddies (Che Cabrera & Bad Dude Tito) Working as a team for over five years, The Wolf Zaddies of Che Cabrera and TMDK's Bad Dude Tito have scored multiple tag team titles in their time together, they're even currently reigning as the SBW (Santino Brothers Wrestling) Tag Team Champions after defeating three other teams in a one night tournament back on January 3rd!  They've been in the ring with Nick Gage and his assorted partners, Ciclope and Miedo Extremo, Peter Avalon and Ray Rosas, West Coast Wrecking Crew, and even The Gates of Agony. Bad Dude Titoe and Che Cabrera are rough and tough individuals, and now they are gunning for a shot at the ROH World Tag Titles on the Proving Ground! This will be the ninth Proving Ground match of Taven and Bennett's third ROH World Tag Team Title reign, and they've come up short just once when The Infantry lasted the ten minute time limit to earn a title match at SUPERCARD OF HONOR 2024. Thankfully for The Undisputed Kingdom, they turned away the championship challenge of Capt. Shawn Dean and Carlie Bravo, but knowing they could lose a Proving Ground match only served to up The UK's game. Since then they've won four consecutive Proving Ground matches and aim to make it a fifth tonight on Honor Club! Will the Wolf Zaddies join the exclusive club of Proving Ground survivors and earn themselves a championship match? Or will The Undisputed Kingdom make it five in a row? FOUR CORNER SURVIVAL TRIOS MATCH... Lance Archer & The Righteous (Dutch & Vincent) vs. Action Andretti & Top Flight (Dante & Darius Martin) vs. The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds, Evil Uno, & John Silver) vs. Dalton Castle & The Infantry (Capt. Shawn Dean & Carlie Bravo) The Trios competition in Ring of Honor is heating up; just look at the Three Way bout that took place last week pitting The Dark Order against Cole Karter, Griff Garrison & Johnny TV and the Iron Savages. Reynolds, Evil Uno, and Silver pulled out the victory in that contest, but tonight on Honor Club the stakes are getting raised with the addition of a fourth team! This time around The Dark Order have to deal with Action Andretti and Top Flight, The Righteous and Lance Archer, as well as the trio of Dalton Castle and The Infantry in a Four Corner Survival match! That means four trios fighting it out in a one fall match, a situation destined to turn into chaos when there are twelve individuals involved all trying to win. That's a lot of bodies around to break up a pinfall, to stop a submission, to prevent the other trios from winning, but every unit wants to get themselves into a position where they're viable challengers to the Undisputed World Trios Championship titles! ALSO FEATURING: -Harley Cameron vs. Trish Adora -Marina Shafir, Alex Windsor, & Diamante vs. Abadon, Lady Frost, & Leyla Hirsch -Red Velvet vs. Viva Van -Shane Taylor Promotions (Lee Moriarty & Shane Taylor) vs. Jacoby Watts & Nick Comoroto -ROH Women's World TV Champion Billie Starkz in action!!

  • ROH on HonorClub Episode 67 Preview

We are on the road to Arlington, TX, the Esports Stadium, and DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024 come July 26th, but with seven weeks to go, there is still a great deal of time for everyone to fight their way into the positions they desire. Champions and challengers alike have nearly two months to gain it all, or lose everything, and that includes ROH World TV Champion Kyle Fletcher as he defends against former ROH World, TV, and Six-Man Champion Dalton Castle tonight! Plus, ROH Women's World TV Champion Billie Starkz will compete on the Proving Ground, three trios fight it out with all hoping for a future shot at the Undisputed World Trios Championships held by The Bang Bang Gang, and “The Problem” Marina Shafir will be back in action! The action is red-hot on Honor Club starting tonight at 7pm ET/6pm CT, yet that's just scratching the surface of what Honor Club has to offer! On top of the weekly ROH show on Thursday's, WatchROH.com is also the only place to watch Ring of Honor's pay-per-view events such as the upcoming DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024 (), as well as FINAL BATTLE and SUPERCARD OF HONOR! In addition, fans can watch events from more than twenty-years of ROH history, including 550+ episodes of ROH WRESTLING TV, live events from across the world, compilations of your favorite ROH talents of the past, interviews, and so much more! ROH WORLD TV CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH... Kyle Fletcher(c) vs. Dalton Castle At SUPERCARD OF HONOR 2024, Dalton Castle finally put his drama with Johnny TV behind him, allowing himself the freedom to move forward towards the goal that Johnny robbed him of last December in FINAL BATTLE 2023's Survival of the Fittest match. That night, after being eliminated by Lee Moriarty (in no small part thank to Johnny TV), Dalton had to sit back and watch Kyle Fletcher become the new ROH World Television Champion. It was a title Castle held for just 22 days back in 2021, losing it at FINAL BATTLE 2021: END OF AN ERA to Rhett Titus, but thus far one he's been able to regain between two seperate opportunities. One obviously being the aforementioned Survival of the Fittest match at SoH '24 while the other took place almost a year ago at DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2023 when defending champion Samoa Joe put a stop to Castle's hopes of becoming a 2-Time TV Champion. It's now been two months since Dalton bested Johnny TV in that Fight Without Honor and tonight will mark Castle's first match back in ROH. While Castle has been refocusing his game, Kyle Fletcher has been putting in the work on both AEW and ROH programming. Three successful Proving Ground matches since beating Lee Johnson at SUPERCARD '24, multiple battles against The Blackpool Combat Club, and being tested on the highest level in an Eliminator match with AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland. Every match Fletcher has had, be them a victory or defeat, has been about honing his craft towards becoming the greatest ROH World Television Champion of all-time. He wants his name spoken in the same breathe as Samoa Joe, Jay Lethal, Shane Taylor, Adam Cole, and the other greats who built the prestige of the ROH World Television championship since “Die Hard” Eddie Edwards was crowned the inaugural champion fourteen years ago in Philadelphia. It's a long road for Kyle Fletcher to get to that point, but he's already successfully defended his title against one former TV Champion in “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels, will he make it two in a row tonight on Honor Club? THREE WAY TRIOS MATCH... Dark Order (Alex Reynolds, Evil Uno, & John Silver) vs. Cole Karter, Griff Garrison & Johnny TV vs. Iron Savages (Bronson, Boulder, & Jacked Jameson) What a mass of humanity we have collected here in this Three Way Trios bout, and all are hoping to earn their way towards being contenders for the Undisputed World Trios Championship titles held by The Bang Bang Gang! Still, there is a great deal of disparity in the successes of the three teams involved, in fact Johnny TV has never even shared a ring with Maria's Baby Boys! As for The Iron Savages, in the seven trios matches they've competed in over the last year they are 1-6 while The Dark Order contingent, obviously the most experienced of the bunch, are 5-2 in ROH competition, saying nothing of all their time together in AEW bouts! Will it be the experience of The Dark Order, the unpredictability of the novice Johnny TV/Baby Boys trio, or the hunger of The Iron Savages that wins out tonight on Honor Club? PROVING GROUND MATCH... ROH Women's World TV Champion Billie Starkz vs. Zamaya Billie Starkz knows she's got Red Velvet gunning for her ROH Women's World Television Championship, but that doesn't Billie's going to stop fighting and hide. Even if she wanted to, “The Fallen Goddess” Athena would never let her, so that means tonight on Honor Club Starkz is back in action on the Proving Grounds, this time welcoming a very unknown quantity in for her ROH debut, an Arizona-based competitor by the name of “The Little Killer” Zamaya. A product of the Arizona Pro Wrestling Training Center, Zamaya came to the world of professional wrestling after competing as an amateur in both high school and college. With less than three years under her belt, the Bull Nakano-inspired Zamaya has already worn championships around her waist, and looks to make the next one the ROH Women's World TV Title! All she has to do is beat Billie Starkz, or go the distance with her until the time limit expires; either result gets Zamaya a future championship match! ALSO FEATURING: -Nick Comoroto & Jacobs Watts vs. The Infantry (Capt. Shawn Dean & Carlie Bravo) -Queen Aminata in singles competition! -And “The Problem” Marina Shafir back in action! Honor Club is also the only place to watch Ring of Honor's weekly presentation every Thursday night at 7pm ET/6pm CT, as well as every Ring of Honor pay-per-view event, including this July's DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024, as well as other marquee events like FINAL BATTLE and SUPERCARD OF HONOR! It's also the home for ROH's rich twenty-plus year history, featuring over 550 episodes of ROH WRESTLING TV, live events from across the decades, collections of ROH greats like Bryan Danielson and AJ Styles, as well as much more for your Honor Club subscription!

  • ROH on HonorClub Episode 66 Preview

Another Thursday is upon us and that means some of the best professional wrestling on the planet is dropping on WATCHROH.com with the latest edition of ROH ON HONOR CLUB! This week we've got two Proving Ground matches on tap as ROH Women's World Champion Athena, nearing 540 days with the title, invites Viva Van to try her hand at earning a championship match. Then ROH World Tag Team Champions Matt Taven and Mike Bennett step onto the Proving Ground to face the intriguing tandem of Jacoby Watts and his follower Nick Comoroto; unlike Athena, the Undisputed Kingdom pair have proven vulnerable in Proving Ground matches in the past, will this be another example of that? In addition, with Anthony Henry cleared to compete following a broken jaw, The Workhorsemen will be in action against Top Fligh, we've got a Three Way Match between Aaron Solo, Lee Johnson, and Action Andretti coming your way, as well as the Premier Athletes, Red Velvet, and Zak Knight all on the card for tonight's fights! It's all going down on Honor Club this Thursday starting at 7pm ET/6pm CT, but that's not all Honor Club has to offer! In addition to the weekly ROH programming, it's also the only home for Ring of Honor's pay-per-view offerings like the upcoming DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR 2024, as well as FINAL BATTLE and SUPERCARD OF HONOR! Plus choose from over twenty-years of ROH history, including more than 550 episodes of ROH WRESTLING TV, live events, compilations of your favorite ROH talents of the past, and so much more! Proving Ground: ROH Women's World Champion Athena vs. Viva Van January 9th of 2023; that night on DARK: ELEVATION, “The Fallen Goddess” Athena defeated Viva Van in just two minutes. Taking place just a few weeks after Athena defeated Mercedes Martinez at FINAL BATTLE 2022 to become the new ROH Women's World Champion, Athena hadn't yet evolved into the woman who stands before the ROH faithful now as one of the longest reigning champions in Ring of Honor history across all divisions. At 538 days and counting, there are only a few men left standing in her path to becoming the greatest champion in ROH's twenty-two year existence. She has surpassed the length of every Pure Championship reign, surpassed every previous Women's World Championship run, blown by every ROH World Six-Man Title holder, as well as every ROH World Tag Team Championship team, leaving only the ROH World TV Title runs of Samoa Joe (574) and Jay Lethal's 2nd (567), as well as Samoa Joe's 645-day reign as ROH World Champion and Nigel McGuinness' 545 days ahead of “The Fallen Goddess”. If Viva Van becomes the first woman to earn a title match with Athena via Proving Ground, gets her title shot on the June 6th edition of ROH ON HONOR CLUB, and somehow ends the epic run of “The Fallen Goddess”, Athena will fall one day shy of breaking Nigel's record as a title holder, but barring that outcome, “The Forever Champion” is just one week away from surpassing McGuinness' championship duration with eyes next set on knocking Jay Lethal out of his spot as #2. Then again, Queen Aminata might have something to say about that as her sights are also set on claiming the throne upon which Athena sits... Proving Ground: ROH World Tag Team Champions Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) vs. Jacoby Watts & Nick Comoroto As the Undisputed Kingdom's Matt Taven and Mike Bennett enjoy their third run as ROH World Tag Team Champions, there are potential challengers popping out of the woodwork at every turn. There are teams like The Outrunners and Iron Savages who've tried their hand at the Proving Ground and failed, or teams like The Infantry who managed to last the time limit and earn a title bout, but came ultimately came up short against The UK. Then there are men like Angelo Parker and Matt Menard who've made it clear what they want, and last week “Daddy Magic” actually pulled a victory over Mike Bennett: That likely puts those two in the driver's seat as far as the next ROH World Tag Title bout once “Cool Hand Ang” returns to action, but in the meantime there are other newcomers like this Jacoby Watts, and his follower Nick Comoroto, who want an opportunity as well. Thursday night they have their chance on the Proving Ground, can Jacoby and Comoroto follow the path The Infantry blazed and earn their shot this way as well? Tag Team Bout: The Workhorsemen (Anthony Henry & JD Drake) vs. Top Flight (Dante & Darius Martin) After being sidelined with a broken jaw for two months, Anthony Henry returned to the side of tag team partner JD Drake so The Workhorsemen could punch in against Angelico and Serpentico. Though the match came with a little unwanted help from Maria's Baby Boys, The Workhorsemen got the win in their column, and are stepping right back into the ring this week for a fight with a team they haven't faced in quite some time: Top Flight! Nearly seventeen months ago, the 1/3/23 edition of AEW DARK, the two teams faced off in a nearly twelve minute tag team battle, and the Martin brothers leaving the ring that night in Orlando with the victory. Fast forward to tonight on Honor Club, The Workhorsemen are looking to get back in motion after Henry's injury stalled their forward progress, but facing, and defeating, a team like Top Flight is one of the biggest challenges JD Drake and Anthony Henry could face so soon after the latter's return to action! Will The Workhorsemen be up to the test, or will Top Flight score their second ROH tag team victory over 2023 at their expense? ALSO FEATURING: -The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari) vs. The Bollywood Boys (Harv & Gurv Sihra) -Three Way Bout: Action Andretti vs. Lee Johnson vs. Aaron Solo -Zak Knight in action! -Red Velvet competes!! -Serpentico in action!!! -And more!!!!
