For the better part of the last month, Angelico and Serpentico have been married to Cole Karter and Griff Garrison, and unfortunately been on the losing end of that equation almost every time. Whether it was Serpentico dropping singles matches to both of them or trying to team up to fight Dalton Castle, The Boys, and Gravity and failing, victory has not been on the side of The Spanish Announce Project.
But that hasn't stopped them from coming after Maria's baby boys, even attacking them backstage during an interview, and now their little rivalry comes to a head this Thursday night on Honor Club when the two duos finally meet in tag team action! Can Serpentico, with Angelico at his side, finally find a victory over Cole and Griff? Or will it be Maria's presence that sways the balance to the side of her baby boys and puts another defeat on The SAP record?
WOMEN'S TRIOS BOUT...
Diamante, Leila Grey, & Taya Valkyrie vs. Kiera Hogan, Lady Frost, & Trish Adora
To say the Women's Division in Ring of Honor is tense would be quite an understatement, just look at the interview embedded above that Lexy Nair attempted to get with the four women involved in last week's 8-Woman tag team bout. The tension that was quite evident there unsurprisingly led to a loss for Taya's team, and perhaps it is because everyone is jockeying for their position in the ROH Women's World Television Title picture, but that isn't stopping unions from being formed where it's convenient.
Such is the case this Thursday night when Taya Valkyrie is aligned with Diamante and Leila Grey to take on two of the women who bested her last week, Lady Frost and Kiera Hogan, and their third Trish Adora. Now several weeks ago it was Taya, partnered with the Renegade sisters, who handed Frost, Hogan, and Adora a Trios loss, but with these two new partners, will she have the same success?
And when the time comes for the Television Title picture to become clear, how will these multi-woman bouts factor into the equation? There are lots of hungry individuals in the division, and at this point it seems few allies supporting one another beyond the convenience of the moment. Will these six women find their names in the hat when title talk time comes?
